Hi, I never really played freerolls before. Are there any good freerolls on Full tilt or pokerstars. How do you know which ones to play? Also, I have plenty of fpp on Pokerstars and saw you can buy in with those. What do you guys think?

I like the 20FPP $1k Turbo freerolls. They're fairly quick, and easy enough to cash in, though I've personally never had the good fortune to make the final table, the payout is certainly nice for the 1st-9th. Over the past couple days I've cashed twice, each time for about $2.50. Can't say whether or not that's a good exchange of FPPs to cash, though.

As for Full Tilt, I've posted this elsewhere, but I think the Daily Dollar satellite and Ferguson satellite are the best two freerolls to play. The rest of the public freerolls have been, in my experience, very, VERY hard to cash in. Doesn't stop me from trying, though I think trying to build my bankroll up through freerolls is actually hurting my SnG and MTT play in some ways. The satellites, though they only run once each per day, are fairly quick - Daily Dollar is a super turbo, Ferguson is a turbo. They also have the added benefit of getting you into MTTs that have a pretty good payout structure, despite HUGE fields.

Just my two cents on the freerolls though.

The $150.00 freerolls on FTP are good also. They can be tough to cash in but definitely doable with just putting in the time and playing them. IF you are good at multiple poker games I suggest the HORSE freeroll at 17:40 each day. Registration starts at 17:00 I believe. My gf is new to poker within the last year and frequently goes deep and has cashed in this tournament.

It depends on what you feel like doing. If you have the time and like making pennies per hour, then play the freerolls.

Thanks guys, I never heard of the Ferguson or Daily Dollar before! Also, I am a big fan of the 20 fpp tourneys, but why do you say not worth spending the fpps?

If you have the points on poker stars , there are the 10 and 20 fpp games that are doable on there site. the compatition can be a little tough in these as there are so fine players but plenty of fish too. I would stay with basic mtt strategy play and you should do fine. The $150.00 freerolls on full tilt are lengthy as time but you can cash.Keep plugging and good luck.
