Certainly will, that's why I've opened this thread. But my questions need an introductory story; the most efficient way to learn what I want to learn is to start conversation with existing bodog user. If no one steps forward - the whole idea is impracticable...
I had a Bodog account until they changed to Bovada, Bovada then wouldn't allow people from my county Australia to play there and then I made a Bodog88 which services the Australasia region, I don't play there though.
You would be better to post your story then people that read it will if they know the answer they will give it, if you don't put anything in your opening post then no one will answer you.
Huh, I was hoping for conversation, because I'm non-native speaker, so preparing a well carved story is not easy. OK, I'll tell a few things...
Small introduction:
I gave up poker, because limit poker is dying and I'm not able to develop any relevant liking to no limit poker. I do like to play a NL freeroll from time to time, but that's not really worth...
However, a while ago, I was badly injured in traffic accident; for several months I wasn't able even to sit at the computer. Now I'm well enough but need at least several months more for full recovering. So I am thinking about playing some poker...
I'll certainly play on pokerstars, but I'm also considering a come back to Bodog (partly because of horse races, but that's another story). What do I know now?
- I know that bodog.com split on Bovada (US players) and Bodog.eu (non-US players)
- I don't know whether I should tend to open a new account, or to restore the old one (that's the least urgent question)
- I've seen a review of Bodog and learned that users can deposit and withdraw via Moneybookers/skrill. However, on the Bodog website, they offer only Bitcoin, Credit card and Interac e-Transfer. There is one promising sentence though: A variety of deposit options may be available depending on where you reside.
Before contacting Bodog (or just trying to log in) I need to answer to myself this three questions:
- Is it worth a serious effort - Is it worth a moderate effort
- Is it worth at all
That's why I need information from contemporary insiders...
Does Skrill properly work?
If the answer is NO, I'll forget about Bodog. If the answer is YES, I might have further block of questions (about fees, duration of transactions etc.).
Are there any full cash tables/tourneys with limit poker? If the answer is YES, I might have further block of questions. Are there any promotions? If so, are there any fine print traps?
And so, and so...
I hope you now have a picture. If something important is missing - do not hesitate to ask
