With the possibility of immediate verification of a given player in an online chat that has the corresponding site and with an immediate response after verifying the given player. With 20 - 30 such checks and given answers, your doubts about such scams would disappear.

In my opinion, sites must set up investigations in case of doubt and sanctions when cheating or the existence of a bot is proven, such as blocking withdrawal.

I play on major poker sites. Of course, there is also the possibility of fraud on them. But I tend to trust the sites I play on, I think they do everything possible to ensure security. Although it’s possible that I’m so calm because I don’t risk a lot of money.

I think that most of the big sites make constant efforts to detect possible irregularities and possible cheats at the poker tables. Where there is a lot of money in the middle, it is very likely that there will be people who try to commit illegalities, but this is exactly why I appreciate sites that constantly invest in security and are very vigilant with those who try to cheat. I also appreciate that the big players on the market are very open to any kind of feedback from customers and any suspicion reported by the players is taken into account and investigated. This gives me extra peace of mind and confidence when I play online poker

I feel safe on the sites that I play on. I play on such low levels that in my opinion no one would waste their time to cheat.

Information is key imo. Sites must be constantly improving their policies and practices in order to keep site cheaters free. They must always communicate to their customers to what they are doing to combat the cheaters and bots.

I consider bots to be cool creatures. Only the masses of people who do not rule rebel against them, as against any government. And the masses are only there for haircuts. I'm also from the crowd and it's no one's fault that I'm still here.

it should be some worldwide security standards for all poker sites which they should complete to be able to offer players their services. Or even some software which runs under each poker platform to be able recognise cheaters and so on. Of course it's hard question to make it clear and independent because I see that this kind of security standards should be provided by third party company.

I will never feel secure on any site with bots around. That is why I have never deposited to this day yet.

Does this make you question the integrity of the sites you that you choose to play? What can poker sites do to make you feel secure in playing there?
I'm may be wrong, but I feel safe playing micro stakes mtts. Or at least by now.
I'm not sure how they can detect it, but big companies hire "good hackers" to see where they are failing. Maybe hire some experts that know how this fraudulent sofwtares works, to be able to recognize them when they are running.

Poker sites definitely need to take security seriously. But at the same time, the process of passing player verification should be simplified as much as possible. Poker sites must allocate funds for special equipment and software that will detect the operation of fraudulent programs and schemes. It is difficult to say exactly what this process should look like, probably a security specialist should express his opinion here.

As others have already said, a poker site can make me feel secure when they are transparent with their security systems in place and especially also letting the players get as much insights as possible:
- allowance of HUDs
- visibility of players countries
- allowing tracking by SharkScope
- No hiding or player / game lobbies / tables

Unfortunately some sites are going in the opposite direction at the moment with restricting some of those things. :(
Yes unfortunately some sites are going in the opposite direction at the moment. And here I think, its fair to single out ACR a little bit, since they are the site, which the recent bot discussion was about. And ACR have recently removed both the chat function and the display of players countries, and its hidden, who have registered for a SnG yet to fill. And those changes certainly does nothing to calm down players, who are worried about bots or collusion. Being able to type a simple "hi" in the chat and get a "hi" in return is a simple way to debunk speculation about bot use.

I think you would be foolish to trust any poker sites integrity 100%. Even well established banks have proven to be untrustworthy when looking after the public's money. Personally, this is why I only keep a small percentage of my bankroll on any given site.

In terms of what a site can do to help me feel more secure, I think a level of transparency is key. Identifying and banning bots and making sure that any funds are returned to those affected is a big thing. The same with superusers. I would also like to see jail sentences for offenders. I don't know if anyone has gone to prison so far, but that's kind of my point. Sites should be publicizing the fact that they are going to prosecute any offenders. Not only does it remove those that have committed crimes from doing it again, but it also helps deter others from doing the same thing and make those playing fairly trust that they are only playing against others on a level playing field.

Its a very difficult topic. If sites implement very strict security mesures they will loose some total fish playing. Back in the days basically all of my donkey poker friends had a full tilt account. Some of them were just goofing around, depositing here and there to play but never cashout.

Now when it came to cashouts and some of them found out they had to send personal documents, they would rather just not cashout at all and leave the money on the site or donk it off. Obv we are only talking about small amounts but it goes to show u that many rec players dont like verification and im sure they would absolutely hate very strict verification and just play somewhere else.

Me personally i think pokerstars is a very good example of how security should be handled and there is nothing more needed.

Unfortunately I think there are always going to be people that take advantage of the great game of poker both online and live, I think that there is a certain amount of responsibility on both the organizers/online sites AND the players to do as much as we can to prevent it. I would feel a lot safer playing online if poker could be more regulated in all countries but as far as it is now, I feel somewhat safer playing on sites that take their security more seriously and have a history of cracking down on cheats as much as they can, for me Pokerstars seems to be leading the charge as far as I can tell.

I think that poker sites should improve their security services, spend money on software that can analyze player activity and detect cheaters. In general, quite simple but important steps in this direction will allow to strengthen security and prevent fraud.

Implementing measures to prevent cheating, such as anti-collusion algorithms and fair play policies; Regularly auditing their systems for vulnerabilities.

Artificial intelligence is improving rapidly! Poker rooms could use captchas every certain number of hands, but that method would not be infallible either.

I think every poker site has a department with security specialists. I think poker sites should invest money in expanding such departments, their functions and software for their efficient operation.

The game card generator is in accordance with the software and if it were not, there would be safety!Same with bots that are on many sites - if the programmer would make a button to be accessed before receiving cards and typing the last 3 digits of the ID would be a solution!

I think that online poker rooms should invest heavily in cybernetic security, every 15 or 30 days they inspect their accounts and everyone's photo document was not cut out.

I recently came up with an idea: if there are online casinos with live dealers, then why not try to make online poker with a live dealer? I don't know how it will look in practice, but in theory it sounds very good. I think then the question of the fairness of the game would not arise. And players would stop doubting the honest work of poker rooms, because as far as I know, many people today doubt the honest work of the random number generator of online poker rooms. This is the only option that comes to my mind, because all the other options, I think over time, people can learn to deceive.

I feel that insecurity, with the arrival of artificial intelligence, it has now become very difficult to win, and with those bot scandals I don't know what to believe in, with a room that has very high security levels that have not detected the problem I am referring to the GGPOKER room and the "SUPER/USER" 15,000 dollars to win with 100,000 hands is something impossible, even the best player in the world could not win such an amount with such a low volume of hands, for that reason I no longer play in levels Media now I only play microlimits, thank you for the opportunity to bring out all that I have inside, don't change, you are the best I love you very much, have a great day God bless you, and good luck at the tables.

Each information system has different components, and each specific case must be considered individually, but in general, poker sites should allocate funds for strengthening and improving IT systems, namely for software and hardware solutions, methods and technologies.
