Molly Bloom visited her old college campus in Boulder, Colo. and found an audience of more than a thousand people filled an auditorium to hear “stories of her notorious past running big-money private poker games, the art of reinvention, and the importance of believing in yourself.”

“Here I am with all of you. It sure feels like a redemptive moment,” she said.

She was the seventh speaker as part of the University of Colorado’s Leo Hill Leadership Speaker series which is made to provide “students the opportunity to hear from world leaders about their own leadership development, growth, and advice as leaders is an important aspect of a student’s own leadership growth.”

According to the University’s website, Bloom touched on how to believe in yourself, making lemons out of lemonade, and accepting responsibility, which is exactly what she did after being nailed for running a high-stakes poker game filled with some very rich and powerful players in Hollywood.

But that was nine years ago. Since then, she served a year on probation, 200 hours of community service, and wrote a biography that was turned into a feature film.

Hellmuth’s Vegas home for sale

Phil Hellmuth’s Las Vegas’s home is on the market, and it’s listed by none other than Karina Jett. Hellmuth told his Twitter fans he never lived there full-time, but once used the house as his headquarters during the WSOP.
