Today playing in a tournament and pocket aces were dealt 4 times in a row the odds of this happening have got to be huge?

The first two times I was holding them and took down the blinds 😡

Then there was two all ins back to back with different players holding rockets ive been dealt back to back aces before but never seen 4 in a row

A regular table has 18 cards dealt out of the 52,,,,would you think its a big deal if 5-7 came out 4 times in a row? ;)

There's only 6 combinations of AA and 16 of 5-7 😂

Not sure if this is right but I've just searched and apparently being dealt aces twice in row as I was is 48,800/1 so to see it on the same table 4 hands running has to be in the millions/1

the problem is not how many times you get them - the whole point is how much money (chips) it will bring you (profit, everything else is just lyrics) and variance

To be more precise, it is about 0.00000004%
1/220*1/220*1/220*1/220 = 1 / 2 342 560 000

No, because it wasn't one person being dealt Aces. It was four in a row at the same table. So divide that by nine each hand, and it is still a large number.

The above 1 in 2.3 billion is correct if they are being dealt to the same person. I had something similar happen to me with 66 once where it was dealt to me 6 times in a row and the odds of that are 1 in 113.4 trillion. Now I am not a total online poker is rigged person but I do think there seems to be patterns at times with it especially on certain sites. If each person on earth played 16,500 hands this should only happen once and yet it happened to me. Does make you wonder about RCGs.

To be clear, the scenario is that at a full table, you "saw AA at the table", 4 times in a row. You are not saying YOU were dealt AA four times in a row. These are 2 very different scenarios.

Getting AA once is 1/221
AA back to back is 1/48,841
AA back to back to back for a single player 1/10.8 million
AA four times in a row for a single player 1/2.4 billion

1 of 9 players getting AA once is 1/25 (this is once every three orbits)
AA back to back by any player at a 9 player table is 1/603
AA back to back to back by any player at a 9 player table is 1/14,806
AA four times in a row at a single table is 1/363,579

So, it is not as unlikely as we might think when considering a full table. When I have seen multiple players all get pocket pairs at the time, I have thought how unlikely this was. But then after digging into the numbers, it really isn't as unreasonable as one might think.

Good luck and God bless.

Yeah I got them twice running but I thought 4 times in a row on the same table was a lot I've not seen it before unless similar to what happened to me I raised everyone folds. The other two times people got all in so I seen them and knowing I had them twice before that

in fact, the odds of hitting AA are equal, like any pocket pair. if they were handed to you in 4 hands in a row - then you are incredibly lucky. but pocket AA and KK have the same chance as 22. everything is quite random and you shouldn't focus on it in the key of one tournament)

I only got them twice but they were on the same table 4 hands in a row. Additionally I didn't get any action with my aces unfortunately
