You know there are some poker slides that are better than others but one thing remains one in the same when you're down to like a final table and they're ready to get you moved on and somebody has 500,000 chips and I have 49,000 in chips and they throw you an AK you know without a shadow of it out that no matter who calls you is going to have the better hand and I already know shoving in with this I'm going to lose even though I placed in the money it's time to send me on to buy into something else and this is what all the poker sites share one of the same. And of course the guy with 500,000 chips calls with his pocket AA's. And it's usually as far as tournaments go I don't think they're rigged at the beginning and the ones that are are usually the person that's been playing tight the whole time, like playing a little bit too perfect, and then all of a sudden dunks off 700,000 chips into an expensive ass tournament with a 2/8 offsuit and a flop comes 228. now as far as somebody calling me with pocket aces or somebody shoving in with two a offsuit sure it happens and it happens a lot but when it happens too much too often you know something's not right. And don't tell me that s*** can't be set up or rigged because let's not forget about absolute poker and ultimate bet and also that's like saying the election this year wasn't rude even though they clearly showed somebody with a phone hack into their system just to show that it could be done that they used all over the United States including the 2016 election and they perfectly showed that it can absolutely be hacked and rigged. So when you say it's not rigged oh yes it is to an extent. I don't think at the beginning it's rigged as far as any against any particular person but I've seen this too many times where seven people go all in and the guy who has like 800,000 chips because he's the lead will take out everybody no matter what he has and take out five people at a time and denying this doesn't make this any better because keeping these people honest and making them have integrity is what will make for a good poker game. There was a guy on YouTube one time his name is magic Mike and he had so many classes I mean many many many many many many clips where it was obvious that pokerstars was setting these hands up for action. And like he said we're not saying it's rigged as far as like when they deal out the cards because we think those are random normally it's what happens after that and that's generally when you'll see some crazy s*** go down and what it does is even when you legitimately lost you tend to even think a lot of that Greg even though you played completely poorly and deserve to lose the hand and you're so frustrated from all the times you have been screwed that even when legitimate beats happen you still think you're being rigged against and it puts you in that bad moveset of like what the hell. A lot of these sites definitely pay and you can win money no doubt because I have lots of times but I've also seen s*** that you just know just like when you love somebody you just know it's that feeling that you just know for sure something is not right and you've seen this too many times and I'm not talking about some regular rookie just complaining I'm talking about somebody who's played on all the sites plays live I went three years without a loss even playing two five I've made plenty of money online with NetTeller including making 10 grand a one week off poker stars out of $5 but I also know that PokerStars made it almost impossible for me to even make $200 for the like the next three years it was amazing that I would have to ban myself off that site because you'd be mad as f*** you know you're being rigged and you complain and then you exclude yourself but then you can't wait to get back on there asking them to let you out of it so you can go donate more money that's a love-hate relationship but it's like a double-edged sword and I feel like if we can hold these people honest and Dodge the bots and the collusion in the super users there's definitely a lot of money to be made for sure.... I want some honest feedback of what you think and these people that talk about oh you got to do this out of 300,000 hands dude I've been playing this for like 17 years maybe more and I'm one of the better players I know and you know what and so are a lot of you guys a lot of you guys are a better players than you know the only thing that makes you different from anybody else like Phil ivy or Daniel nagera or Phil helmuth is that a lot of these guys have backers that pay for them that's the difference because I am certain to any one of you could go on TV and wipe them out just playing normal poker. You people need to give yourselves more credit than you deserve like how many times have you went to casino and you make a ton of money and then you go online and you get completely screwed. We got to hold these people honest. Because no matter what happens we'll definitely keep feeding into this s*** but that doesn't mean we shouldn't hold them accountable and keep them honest. Your guys' feedback would be appreciated.

I've only been playing for a couple years and early on I would come on here after several bad beats in a row with 80% favs and complain. I stopped because other members would always start arguments with me and my posts never seem to do anyone any good especially me.

However when reading a post by a seemingly intelligent person like yourself just asking for honesty (which is not easy to come by on this subject) I have to back you up as I wished others would have done for me.

First off it's without a doubt possible to win even at the offshore sites I am allowed to play at. I have had one of the best 2 weeks of my short poker experience. I only learned how to play poker in early 2019. Working from home has allowed me to to accumulate years worth of play and study in that short time. I have withdrew 2 stacks of HS across 3 sites this week alone and have never deposited more than $25 to $50 at any site ever. So I am not upset or mad about anything right now but quite the opposite.

That being said today alone I have lost AA < KK twice. Also lost just a moment ago 2 places before ft after shoving when I hit a pair of aces on flop to the overwhelmingly largest stack calling with a backdoor to hit runners.

I always kill it playing very tag up to around the time there are 15-20 players left. At which time on many many occasions I hit set, str8 or something of the like on flop or turn. Only to be sucked out by opponent catching a slightly better hand on the river. A lot of the time it just happens to be the only other player at the table with more chips than me and able to put me out.

I could go on and on with examples of situations that occur daily online that defy the odds. Situations that I never ever see live or at least only once or twice ever but what's the point you either see it, refuse to see it or straight up lie about it. In my experience there are 3 types of people when it comes to this subject (much like religious beliefs).

1.Those who have an open mind and look at it with logic and no pre disposition. That will see the obvious truth that is so blatant.

2.Those whom have already decided before ever evaluating the situation due to wanting to believe it's not and being easily persuaded by reading articles usually written by "poker expert/authority figures" whom have some sort of interest in the OLP business. Which brings me to the 3rd type.

3 Those who have a financial interest in OLP of some sort. From online grinders all the way up to the site owners and in between.

Unless the people in the 3rd group stop ignoring that little voice that tells you when your doing something that's not fair to your fellow man. So we can all start demanding a better quality of game as a large enough group to really make a statement to these unscrupulous site owners and regulators. It's unlikely we will see the types of positive changes needed.

As it seems many businesses from all walks have adopted these same types of unethical operations in the past decade or two. (really started with Reagan-omics on a mass scale with major deregulations).

I didn't want to post this as I will most likely catch major flack on here for it and it never does any good. However to not do so after reading your plea for honest thoughts on the subject would go against everything I stand for. Maybe even put me in that 3rd group.

It was once said that corruption is not so much a product of corrupt men as it is one of good men standing by doing nothing and allowing it to happen.

Anyone who has ever played a large amount of live hands or just understands basic math odds and percentages has to notice the chronic odds defying river wins that are so common we don't even get upset or surprised by them anymore.

Numbers don't lie so your either refusing to look or refusing to admit that OLP does not heed to the laws of physics our mathematically based reality is built upon. Simple as that!

Sorry to those whom this offends it is not my intention nor my pleasure to do so. The nature of my being makes it nearly impossible for me to bite my tongue in such situations.

I play live and online. Ever since I have started playing online about 4 years ago, I have always felt that something didn't feel right. I have made the same observations that you have listed. There is a lot more to it than you know, but you aren't going to get anywhere posting about it on online forums. I hope this helps.

It's always good to voice your thoughts and opinions on subjects that draw your emotions into play. Things are often as they are without some underlying hidden agenda and taking emotions out of ones thoughts often tend to shine light on the subject. Poker is Poker

Poker is like a ride in an amusement park

some days the ride is fun, other days its scary

and most days, when the ride is finally over, all i wanna do is puke

that's why they should have called this game ROLLERCOASTER instead

try to enjoy the ride :)
