I myself am disappointed in these poker stars tournaments. And what do you think of them.

I've never liked Spin-And-Go tournaments
many times they played, and always went into negative

I took the twelfth place in one freeroll. Won 1.4 dollars. I started playing spin on them at 25 cents. Not one win from 5 attempts. Sadly

i dont like to pay for them but if i get a ticket in a freeroll or something i like them what i dont like the most is that you only get to double your buy in most times and that vs 2 i think its better to play heads up from a logical standpoint

They can only win at long range
To find the right strategy. start with 1$
Spin-And-Go for 0,25 need a lot of luck

I never liked Spin & Go, I think the awards are very low, it's a bad investment of time. My opinion

I do not like them. I think poker player needs to experience his patience, and in this kind of poker somehow it does not work.

this is what i play mostly. Swings are big but i think it is much more beattable than cash games. In cash games when you go up stakes players dont make big mistakes and everything goes to rake. In spins you can play closer to perfect when under 10 bb push fold nash.

I do not really like these tournaments. It seems to me that the result depends more on luck, luck. and the quality of the game goes to the background.

It's good game for guys which don't want to lose time.

It can be very difficult to cope with bad swings on higher stakes. I think that you need focus on a single buy-in level for a given tournament structure...win a quick tournament is not so easy how appears. Take care!

it's a very interesting game, but you have to use another game methodology to play ... for example, you do not have to wait for Premium cards to enter a hand

It is hard to show your skills in the game playing spin&go, because of you have very short stack and blinds go up very quickly. I dont play this type, prefer MTT. You have to be very lucky to make a profit playing spin&go.

Spin and Go is not at all poker is a five-minute entertainment for losing money

I believe it is a more skilled game than regular MTT.


Why I say so in a regular MTT you sit and wait for a AA or hand like this, in spin n go format you must be able to win hands it 57 and K3.


Which do you think takes more skill winning a pot with AA or 57?

If Your "skill" allows You to win with a hand like 5 7.....
Then why dont You use that "skill" in MTTs but wait for premium hands there ????

It's not poker... It's Bingo...

With small stacks and fast rising blinds there is literally no room for getting an edge through skill.
Unless You have a bankroll that allows You to play 1000 Spin&Gos...
And most of the time You just double your buy-in...
If You are not among the lucky people who hit a big prize pool ( which are rare )
then You have to beat 2 opponents for a prize that You can win by beating 1 in a heads-up Sit&Go...

In my opinion it's the poker rooms way to make money off of people who are attracted by the highly unlikely chance to win a lot of money with a small buy-in. Lottery players....

The first time playing this format of poker I didn't like wybrow time to play only it turned out to be quite good.Play not so often in a spin...

This type of game makes you make very complicated decisions and at any time you can fly out. It's not enough to take all the chips of one opponent, because the other will have a good chance of winning. In a one-on-one game, it's much easier to defeat only one opponent. But there is an extra bonus sometimes there is a really good amount of prize money. Playing for 1 dollar, I twice fought for $ 25 and once won two opponents.

I don't like play spin&go. Because, I think it's like a casino's games - you never be in plus! But this is good time to use stars' points? a little!

Almost everytime you're beating out 2 other players for only double the buy-in so they really aren't worth it.ACR is the only site I've seemed to get a larger prize more frequently.

i m dissapointed too because it a little har forme to win on long term, if i play 0.50 i thin it s a bigger chance to win bigger prizes, if i play 3$ or higher i lose almost every time....i will try do don t play them anymore

One day i tried just playing them. I ended up 170$ negative. After 11 hours of playing. For me its very hard to go back to normal poker after it so i took a week break before playing poker again.

A few hours ago I won 240$ on the ticket a value of $1.

All that i think that this tournaments is useless. Really hard to win something. You need to have lots of luck to win something, because usually you see lots of times only 2x in this tournaments, and this is really hard to win against 2 people. My advice here for everyone is to play cash games or sng tournaments. If you don,t have a huge experience in poker, it,s really hard to play and win in Spin & Go,

They say it`s luck because their losing at them,so it`s bad luck i guess I have a love/hate thing with spinners,,i love winning them and building my BR fast,but hate the beats you take from bad players.

When you choose tournaments, Spin & Go, you participate in tournaments with various prize funds. This means that your results will largely depend on your luck in those tournaments where you are lucky in the beginning, and baiyin was increased.It means a greater dependence on luck, and the ability to play poker goes by the wayside.
I don't like them and rarely play,when there is hope for a big multiplier ,it is sometimes possible to test your luck.

In my opinion is the best way to begin in poker

20c spins are useless, 1usd is cool if you don't hit 12 2x spins in a row like I did, 2.75 are also good, the rest is pretty much throwing cash away imho.

It is super annoying to loose to bad players who get extremely lucky.

Spin'n'go are slowly but surely killing what purists call "poker".

I like spin and go. How it's just 3 players it's easy to win. I don't really like tournaments with plenty people. Because I does hardly win. Lol

It is not a poker game. It is a casino game. Even online video slots have more chance to win than Spin'n'Go.

It is definitley a lotteryish format but is fun if you are NOT a amateur player trying to survive playing poker

I do not like to play it very despersion.

I used to really like Spin and Go's. I thought they were exceptional training for short stack play, shoving ranges, and short handed play, and the micro Spin and Go's were relatively soft. However, after looking into some SpinNG strategy (there is some on this site), I realized how much of an uphill battle it is to come out ahead when playing them because you have to battle the high variance with the highest rake on the Pokerstars site, so I am going to stay away from them from not on, and if I am looking for fast paced games to try a 6-max turbo, or hyper, or something like that.

Ok, I don't get how spins are casino-like games. Sure, if you buy in for a dollar and expect to spin 1000$, your place is in the slots section. Spin n Gos are just your average sit n gos with with a variable rake. If you'd play a 3h 1USD sng, hypothetically, what would be the 1st prize? 2,25ish? 2,50? Well, in a spin you're guaranteed a 2 and you'll get, in general, at least a 4$ once every 5 games?

And my issue with people saying that it's a lottery goes a bit further. If you spin a 10, 25, 100x.. you'll still have to play good poker to grab the prize. And mind you, it's short stacked so you need a completely differeny approach.


Spin and go Max is a different story. There you have 3 """random""" prizes, you have 30ish hands to play until you're in bingo mode. That's more like casino. And even there you need to forge a biy of strategy, and play a bit of poker to win consostently.

all I can say about such tournaments is bingo, nothing to do with the quality of your game

I disabled this game format, I think very risky, when analyzing I see that in the long run, this format is not profitable
