Hi all!
I want to share what I just saw in the spin and go tournament.
I've been playing this format for several years and the biggest prize pool I've ever played was $120 in a $1 tournament.
And here in the forum the topic of prize money in Spin and Go has already been raised several times. There is a table of probability distribution of prizes, and here it has already been brought up several times ....
But today I finally witnessed a game with really chic prize money in a $2 buy-in.

This is very nice @IRINA70 although I’m not a spin & go player it’s wonderful to see that from time to time the jackpot appears.
I only play spin & go when I open a chest and comes a spin & go ticket as a “prize” (part of my rakeback).

Nice to see a jack pot come. Personally I never got one myself, but then again I don't play Spin&Go much. I do have a friend who hit 55k one a few years ago and won it. I believe he was playing 25$ buyins at that point (I could be wrong hehe).

It feels so good seeing those big sites giving back some money to people. I wish that could happen more often.

I agree, it would be nice to have a bigger prizes more often than 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier.
At the moment of that game I was playing 1$ game and just got notification about a big prize game starting in a few seconds.

Wow that was a very nice prize for a $2 buy in. My maximum I think was 5x, but I really don't play this type of game too often.

trust me it's not worth it.if you don't play don't start. i play 1 dollar and 2 dollars and 5 and 10 dollars.the probability that you hit the jackpot is minimal. at a distance you will lose much more.
this is my personal opinion.

you are lucky to see it live. I also sometimes check current games but have never seen anything like this.

They don't really give anything back, unfortunately.

It's calculated in a way that over 1 million games, they still make a profit since the majority of the games will only get a prize pool of 2x or 3x the buy-in.

What I like about those jackpot games is that all the places are paid. So even if you don't win, you'll make a nice profit. 🤓

But I don't play many Spin&Gos because usually you don't hit those big pools and the game is too fast to play properly. Luck plays a big role.

You are right, they don't give anything. I said it the wrong way. It's just like the slot machines system, no one would win the jackpot or even a decent prize until the machines swallow enough for the prize and their profit.
As to the Spin & Go games, I always said that their proper place should be the casino, not the poker room. I very seldom play them, when I get a ticket, and guess what, I did hit the max prize once and won it too ! $30 for 0.25c buy in 😌🤣😞😂 (Got $24 for 1st)..

It's unfortunate that it didn't happen on your table. But knowing that it exists does not mean that it hits with a high enough frequency for people to go after it, which is exactly what they want.
I don't know if you play a lot of poker IRINA, but if it's the case, investing those dollars in it could be more profitable long term speaking.

As I said I play Spins every day, hundred of them may be just changing buy ins between 1$, 2$ and 5$. I play them between satellites and Bounty Builder tournaments but sometimes together when there is one or two tournament tables running.
