nothing much happening, stack gradually going down though. Still plenty of play left though. At 27k but average is about 28k.

Lost a 20k pot with top pair vs rivered trips :(

Down below average, playing a 35bb stack so still got plenty of time to try make something happen.

really brutal start, already down half my stack in the first level, maybe I'm a fish :( I guess I played both these hands too weakly and I'm really not sure I should be folding AK

wow wow wow I'm lost for words. probably an oppertunity I'm not going to have many of in my life and I'm out on the second level. I mean there must be really something very wrong with my game if I'm busting this early in a tournament like this. I think the way my 4 major hands played out is a little unlucky but again I must be doing something wrong to be out so quick. I reeally did think I was better than your typical tournament fish but maybe I am a donk and need to find out where my leaks are :bawling:

The above two are where I lost most of my chips. I think the AK is a probably a good fold on the river since when he makes the big overbet like that hes polarized to having a full house or big bluff and at that early stage I'd lean more toward a full house. But I played it wrong to be in that spot, my bet sizing was off and I should have bet or c/r the turn since he easily could have A10 there. basically I was thinking though that he had to have either A10 or 44 so wanted to get to showdown without putting too much of my stack in, not that early anyway.
The KK I should have bet more with it, as played I dont think I lost too much but probably I didnt lose the minimum

I lost a ~1500 pot in sb vs bb with K10s where I raised preflop the board was paired I chose to check rather than c bet since the guy was clearly a pro and I wouldnt get any credit he bet I called the turn was black I checked he bet I didnt believe him and led the river which he called as hed rivvered a straight with 4,6 so a really dumb play by me, but it would have worked if he hadnt rivered a straight.
The hand I busted out on I had AQ in the cut off andcame in for a standard raise and was called by bb board 662 I c bet he called turn was a Q I bet again he called and the river was a blank I checked he shoved for the last 2.3 k which I called and he tuned over trips. I probably messed this hand up as well

So really felling down right now. my one shot and I blew it big time. I think I was a little unlucky in a couple of pots there but I still made several big mistakes. Really sad because I now wonder if I am infact just another donk tournament player

Don't be too hard on yourself.
I went out early in some of the bigger online MTT's I've taken shots at or have sattied into (& don't play in many of them). First bad experience was a $320 buyin on iPoker and I went out the very first hand I played, lol. (& I'd looked forward to it for weeks!). In others I gave some of the other players wayyy too much credit in the early levels, only to discover they were in fact huge fish & clearly not thinking beyond level1 (< if that).
fwiw, young_diam18 in that second hand you posted is a reg.

ha ha that makes me feel a bit better. I think I'll need to work on my game if I ever want to compete in those level tournaments though :p atleast at 18 I've still got many years left to work my way up.
and yeah I figured he was probably a reg, I noticed he had several other tournaments in the $300-$500 open at the same time. Which just makes my descision to try get involved in a blind on blind battle even more stupid. I thought that just folding the small blind when folded to me would just be too weak of a play and would set me up to be harrased later. ofcourse it put me in a bad spot where I played a pot out of position without a hand.

watching WCOOP MainEvent.. nearing final table

Just 15 players left in the WCOOP MainEvent!
PearlJammer had nice stack sitting in top3 but just lost a bunch and is now one of the shortest :(
Few others still in it> Daniel Drescher (ALLanon85), Larry Sharp (BBOY3110), Andrey Zaichenko (Kroko-dill), Shaniac.

Some others who just went out in final 3 tables:
Chris Klodnicki 21st, (2nd place in the wsop $111k 'One Drop' for $2.9mill
James Dempsey 16th, (WPT winner & WSOP bracelet winner)
Jason Dewitt 27th, (1st & 2nd WSOP)

Closing in on final table - - 14 left in it now!
(PearlJammer aka Jon Turner just went out in 15th ... sigh)

If he wins that hand he's pretty much tied with two others for the lead (w 2 other ss's) with a good shot at the $1.8mil first place prize money. Instead he's out.
ughh!

Top 3 players in Maint Event are all germans...

By the way, I never realised but now I notice that PS Pro's are allowed to play for real money even though they are from the US... that's not fair towards the rest of poker players in the US.
