It sounds like you were trying to steal some pots but always got called, were you raising from early and mid position or just from late? If your late position steals keep getting called you have to change tactics. Do they call light pre but fold to C-bets? Do they respect CO raises more? And are you choosing the right hands to try and steal with?

Once you see a flop, can you read the board texture well compared to the callers range and make the correct decision to C-bet or not and how much to C-bet?

Any hand can be potentially playable, limiting your range can really hurt you if you allow your stack to dwindle in tourny play. I recommend opening up your range a little bit to allow for a higher chance of building your stack if the price is right.

If their are less people in the pot then you can play in position make a 4 bet try and win some hands to stay alive but if you do it too often people will move all in on you with any 2 cards so do it smartly so if you are playing less hands people will respect your 4 bet unless they got a good hand so pick the right time and make your play
