UNfair Late Registration

I find it VERY frustrating to watch people come into a tournament during the VERY late stages of "late registration"...they makes the stuuupidest bets...mainly because they are trying to "double up" their stack, or not caring about losing FREE MONEY. So, players who have deposited NON "free" winnings(actual money from their bank accounts, etc) can come in late and end up betting me off of winners with PRE FLOP all ins(TOTAL GUESSING STRATEGY!) I have had situations where I worked my butt off to get to where I was in the tourney standings and then I call a late registration players bet because I have power cards(pocket pairs of 10's or higher)...and sure as heck I lose about 90% of those hands to TOTAL DONKWADS who are TOTALLY GUESSING. Even worse, I usually don't get ANY winners after that scenario. Starting to realize that about 99% of "online poker" is basically the "same ole, same ole"...UNFAIR to say the least! I can sit there for hours and hours and get a couple winning hands, while I watch IDIOTS playing stupid cards like 3 9 off suited, 2 j off suited, 4 10 off suited....and I lose to those idiots! Perhaps I am better off playing poker with "real money" and being able to "see" the dealer and such?! Would be different if I was the person getting dealt pocket pairs and power cards 80% of the time and getting the winning hands about 75% of the time...like I watch players doing often...same person gets dealt the good cards and "big stack" seems to be able to win playing "whatever". ARGH!

You won't like ACR it is like 5 hours of late registration just to have people buy in at the end and triple up double up with K9s or better.

It's not unfair since you know how long late reg is before you start the tournament.

It would be unfair if they extended it after tons of people paid their entry and fee.

It is the nature of the beast on ACR and isn't going anywhere because people have complained to the "ACR Rep" who does nothing but tell you he will relay something to the tournaments department. The ACR Rep here is nothing but an advertising account but that is a whole different story.

All I can say is either just don't let it get to you or join them! People are going to outdraw you with trash regardless of when they registered also.

i AGREE total fair, the rules were set at the start and then your upset somebody joined within the time period.

There are plenty of games that have short registration periods to play, enjoy your poker check the description before you start

What makes it fair is the fact that everyone is allowed to do it. If you truly think you gain value from doing it then you are totally free to try it out yourself!

In terms of the people getting lucky, it's just variance man just do your best to get it in good, and the chips will come to you in the long run.

I hate to break it to you but they have late registration at the casinos too. It's the nature of the game. I think the players that are coming in late are at a disadvantage. You can't change the way things are you can only change the way you feel about it. Try to put a positive spin on it and things will work out much better for you.

ive played at several sites n keep running into these kinda issues,,recently started playing at global, only been a few days but so far i like it alot more the higher percentage hands seem to win more..n no late:captain:registration

On a serious note:
1. Late registration isn't unfair as it's open to everyone.
2. Understand what variance is.
3. Why are you complaining about bad players playing bad hands?
4. You still have a lot to learn.

Have to admit that sometimes it's quite amusing just getting it all in with fingers crossed pretending like its all good 8)

As i read it, its not the late registation part your frustrated about, its loosing
to superloose players that shoves with trash hands that bothers you

All you can do is play your A game each and every time, then results
will show at some point

And dont forget to keep expand your knowlegde bout poker.

those are the rules and yes it is frustrating. but you knew going into the tourney that late registration was there. I just play my game and try and not get into bad situations prior to the end of registration. but i feel your pain.
