Hello noob here, I'm playing with solver and want to ask, what's the optimal way to play this spot, solver says I should bet and I want to understand why.
MTT
3bet pot
Hero CO(5,6s)(72BB)
UTG bets 3.5BB(72BB)
Everyone folds
Hero Calls
Flop K Q 3 rainbow

Solver says I should bet with 56s?
And says check is not just Ok decision but mistake.

In what phase of the MTT are you?
Is the MTT 9-handed?

it will only tell you to bet when you have equity in the hand.

You must have a flush draw here otherwise betting just isn't the right play.

Can you post again the hand in more detail please? I don't understand the action , also we should know the suit of each card and then maybe we can understand solver's line?!

One more thing from your opening post. You said "3bet pot" but there is no info on who did the 3bet.

If there was no 3bet, then I can tell you that his preflop raise from UTH followed by a flop check does seem a lot of weakness that you could try to exploit.
He could be totally unbalanced in the situation and just bet for value and check/gold after missing or getting a bad flop.

I can give more details when you the question in the 1st paragraph.
