KO Turneys are nice but you have to be careful not to chase the bounty too often. Bounties are an integral part of KOs but could get you into trouble just for going after them. If are patient and play well, Bounties will come. I like them, they have a lot going on always and could be very profitable. GL and let us know how it went.
I play them quite a bit, players tend to limp more into a pot pre due to trying to hit the flop hard but also will call you lightly due to the bounty involved, use position, punish the limpers and don't be afraid to bet your big pocket pairs hard pre, you'll be amazed at how many Ax hands will call, sometimes they'll hit the A but if you get it in good and the poker gods go against you there isn't much you can do apart from be happy you made the right move.
I find that it is a situation where you can exploit some players tendencies. Some players will overly pursue a bounty, and when they have you covered you can open shove instead of raise the BB a marginal amount and possible be more likely to be called with a big hand.
I started playing poker a short time ago, but I already played several types, this knock, it's interesting, but I did not like it, it's that game for those who want to lose the fear of betting everything, and if you win the fight, you have the reward.
I love KO tourneys. If you play a solid game throughout, it's fairly easy to acquire your opponents bounties and make it deep. Luckily enough I'm pretty good at them too (despite having a lot of leaks in my tournament play).
KO are really good because you can cover your by in just by elliminating other players. you dont have to be in final 15% to make money. the structure on P.S. is 7 min for level so you can wait for good hand.in bounty builder its only 3 min so you are forst to play medeocre hands and gamble much more
i like play this type of tournament. The general idea is that KOs are more aggressive than usual tournaments, and Progressive KOs are wildly aggressive and incredibly top-heavy. There’s a huge amount of importance attached to winning a PSKO, because you get your own bounty back too. so enjoy these benefit.
I like the knockout at stars- to be precise i play knockout nl omaha ; it's a lot more action than the usual tourney, you do get into very interesting situations where someone has a bounty on their head and has few chips left- so for a low risk you can get a big bounty.
Ko's mtts are very strategically hard events cause as in usuall mtts the highest prisez are in the late game where for one ko you can get 10$ or more bucks. But the one thing that stops me to play such events is that many players do bad decisions and as a redult the dispersion in such events is huge and the influence of luck plays a great role.but it s only my opinion everybody takes it personally.gl
These tournaments are so much fun to play in especially if you are the big stack going into the bubble. There are so many small stacks that will be shoving pre-flop that will result in flip for basically free cash or a minor hit to your stack.
Last one of these I played in I knocked out 5 people and made more than my entry fee back in just the bounties. Ended up taking second place and cashing out for $195.
I usually play my normal game and do well. The KOs come on their own no matter what the game, sometimes its a bunch, sometimes not as many, but I don't know how you could win any tournament without busting people along the way.
