It depends on your personal preference and playing style...

Tournaments tend to offer the chance to win larger rewards with a relatively small buy-in. And of course will be harder than SNGs.

And your time available. If you have other things to do in 3 hours, then you should obviously not buy into a tournament, which will last longer than that. So your options are limited to SnGs or maybe a hyper turbo MTT. Or of course cash games.

I played there and there. I didn't see much difference for myself.

If you want to win immediately, it's through spins, but if you're looking towards the future, then it's tournaments, but of course, winning is still necessary.

What is the best?
If you want to make slow steady money then SnGs are the way to go as you only have to beat 8 other players, In Tournaments the rewards are a lot bigger, but so are the number of players you need to defeat.
I used to play around 10X SnG games during the day finishing off with a Cardschat freeroll at night, but as in any game I had some terrible results in both and other times won money in both. The only way to know if you are making money is to keep an eye on your bankroll balance, That is the real indication on how well you are playing.

As mentioned already it's down to the preference. SnG are as stable format as you can get and really depend on your skill, if you're good enough you will slowly build your bankroll with it almost certainly. Tournaments on the other hands have a lot more swings, you can be loosing for weeks on or barely make in money. Then bam, you make 2 final tables and you can cover 2 months of expenses.
I personally prefer tournament play. SnG just seem to much of a grind somehow.

I mainly play fast freerolls and tournaments with a manageable number of participants. When I have a little time, I also like to play 45 SNG and a 1.10 PKO from time to time.

I think a combination of the above posts are correct: Depends on how much time you have available for your session. How much roll you have available (Bank roll management). Individual preference/ results orientation. Also blind structure and number of players at table play a big part depending on your skill level.

Well.. I prefer MTT but it has varience and sometimes you have to wait a long time in order to get a Win, so if you are looking for something fast sit n go works, if not, MTT is the best! :D

I actually prefer MTTs.
When I play poker I try to take the time I need to play.
Usually when I have little time I enter a low limit cash game.
A long time ago I played a lot of Sng, but I don't know why they stopped being attractive to me.
Although it is a good way to slowly increase your bankroll, I have no doubts about that.
My regards, brother:giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:

It really depends on a few factors, but most importantly is your time. Sit & Go's are usually shorter with less participants, but the payout is smaller. Tournaments usually have longer late registration, but there are more participants and payouts are usually bigger.

It depends on your preference and your style of play, in addition to the availability of time.

Low buy in: sit & go.
High buy in: tournaments.
You can increase the amount, it is more profitable than the tournaments, when you spend two hours and in the end you do not make money، while Sit & Go in two hours you have earned a good amount
