Yes, it sucks in the moment, but the longer you play you'll find yourself on the opposite side of the equation just as much. It's just that we tend to remember the bad outcome more so than the good.

I finished 3rd in ClubGG US player last night and best hand dealt for tournament was 99.

If you are card dead you need refreshing in order to recover. This refreshing can be to rest your game for a while. Then you move again.

Yes totally card dead, dealt 55 hands, played 2 one in BB and one pocket pair, then as I am in last place I get this and kaboom. ???

Badbeat at the end there but during the way when your blinded down playing no hands there were surely spots you could have taken to chip up? maybe not.
it is difficult when cards do not appear but at certain times they are opportunities to still win pots without the top percentage of hands get in there and battle some more than simply folding each and every hand would be my advice
