Sometimes we react inappropriately when we are playing a tournament and we are eliminated with little to get to prizes we feel annoyed, frustrated, maybe we lost because of playing badly or a bad beat that made us lose our heads, well now being in that state of encouragement (tilt) would be advisable to continue playing? I think that if we continue doing it, we would probably lose, the best choise will be take a breath, drink a cold beer
 then continue to play .

I do not think that drinking alcohol and going back to the game is a good idea.

alcohol and the game are not good mix, of course from my point of view, the best thing to do is stop playing for a while and clear your mind, often those frustrations and discomfort affect the next games in which we participate

when this kind of thing happens to me I stop playing for the rest of the day, to avoid committing crazy things in the game, that if it's a money game, I'm still playing but the freerolls

I think that tilt is part of the game. A player that doens't tilt is abnormal when we desire to achieve victory and win some prize we care and if we care we tend to be attatched emotionally and then when things don't go our way and if we feel that we have been wronged we tend to have emotional lash out which on poker represent bad decision making which will make you lose Money. The best way to deal with this trap is to think on the long run not the events that happens with you on the moment.

I went a bit far but that's my idea.

tilt

Yes leave the environment helps a lot to get out of the tilt but drink and poker do not mix, maybe another program would be more efficient type a coffee chat with friends and give a laugh to a girlfriend or even meditate but definitimante deve-se evitar alcool no jogo de poker no caso de MTT cash talvez é mais descontraido não é preciso tanto critério

Boa Sorte

I think it's best to stop playing and take a short break.
I remember Viktor Blom lost four million dollars in one day, if he had stopped playing angry, he had not lost so much money, I think everyone has happened to us, to play angry or tilt, lose money, and it 's because when we are tilt, do not take the best decisions, the best decision you can make at the moment is to stop playing.

Calm, cool, and collected is the right mood for playing your best. If you're feeling anything but that, it could be time to take a break. Go get something refreshing to drink and then try try again.

Tilt affects people in different ways. You, yourself are the only one that knows how it affects you and how you handle it. If you want to drink a beer then make sure you come back to my table because you will not drink just 1. You will have more and give away more of your bankroll and then go home and KICK yourself. LOL

I actually think a little anger is ok as long as it is controlled and you keep a cool head. It get's the juices going. You feel the world is against you and it's totally unfair, well ok you are going to show them and come back and win. I used to love watching McEnroe play tennis and rant and rave about terrible calls but psyche himself into playing better than ever and striking fear into his opponents. I think it depends on how you mentally deal with a bad beat or a bad call or whatever it is.

Tilt is tough to manage for most and everyone deals with it in different ways. Most of the time (online play) i can cuss and rave for about 5 mins or so and then im fine. Other times i have to get up and walk away, managing my tilt live for some reason comes much easier. Good luck, i hope you find what works for you.

Accepting that was eliminated in a tournament is never easy, especially when playing well against players who pay or bluff wrong and they hit something on the river, that's the worst part.

I found for me a quick break to meditate works wonders. Just taking deep breaths and listening to meditation music for 2-3 minutes did the trick for me. I found it worked so well I started to listen to the music while I played. I found myself not going on tilt and paying more attention to the games and most of all, I am enjoying the game more.
