Hello guys,

Do you guys think that playing spin & gos can be profitable? If yes, how would you manage your bankrol when you want to play spin & gos. It seems to me that you only win %50 of your sessions. Like if you play 20 sessions of spin & gos you are likely to win 10 of those. From my experience, I think that spin & gos can be very dangerous for your bankrol. Or is there way to make most of spin & gos?

I have never really gotten into these, but looking at them from a more general poker perspective they have a lot going against them. They are hyper turbo games starting with just 25BB, and they are only 3-handed. This makes it difficult to find edges, because you only get a play a few hands in each, and most of them with very short stacks, where its difficult for your opponents to make mistakes. Its not that difficult to memorize push-fold charts for heads-up and 3-handed play, and thats largely all, Spin n Gos are about.

In top of that you have the fact, that 2-3% of the price pool goes to the "jackpot" multipliers, which you will probably never see, because the likelyhood is so low. So every time, you buy into one of these, 2-3% of your money essentially goes to purchase a lottery ticket. And if you are not among the lucky few, who win in the lottery, you need to overcome that in top of the normal rake.

So all in all my honest opinion about these games is, they are mostly just a great rake machine for poker sites. I know, some players actually played them professionally in the beginning, and had success. But as with everything else, these games have almost certainly gotten tougher over time, as players have picked up on the correct strategy, and from a fundamental standpoint they have literally everything going against them. Which is probably why, you dont see many professional players recommend them.

If you win 50% of your Spin&Go Sessions, then you are very profitable. (I assume you mean spin&goes with 3 players) But I doubt that this is possible, even if you have the best skills when math says you can win 33%.

A "session" is a number of tournaments not just a single one. Like for instance 10, 30 or 100, depending how long OP likes to play.

Spin & Go tournaments have a much larger standard deviation than plain S&Gs.
The variance is high so it might be worthwhile for him to start with a smaller bet or a larger bankroll.
I don’t know if you can only build a bigger bankroll with Spin & Go.
There must be some who have already succeeded.

this is just one of the marketing moves of the poker game operator that is set up only for 1 goal to wash the largest amount of money for yourself, but it is possible that you will be one of the lucky ones for 1,000,000 and hit the jackpot from this no one is immune the choice is always yours. I had one period not very long, it was only closer to 12: 00 when I won 10 games at 8: 00 and all of them were with a coefficient of 25 or more, it was some kind of madness So I was in the black but I repeat it was only once!

Yes you can be profitable. You just need volume. Based on what I watch but I never tried it

I agree, with the Leaderboards currently in place (pokerstars, GGPoker) & Rakeback you should be able play profitable, if you beat the limit.
Basically its quite a simple strategic concept, you really need to grind out the variance

Can it be profitable to play the lottery, bingo, or roulette ???
For me, tournaments of this format are a lottery, where your skills and abilities do not really solve anything. In such tournaments, literally everything is decided by your luck.

Hi! I play only spin n go's and was able only to move up from 2$ to 25$ after playing hundreds of these 0,25$ tournaments. My bankroll strategy is to get 100 buy-ins which I managed to accomplish. Now when I get to 26$ I try 1$ buy in, if I lose I fall back to 0,25$. Not sure If I have some play strategy but I have some tips. But probably you play way higher limits so it won't interest you.

The problem with spin and gos is that your starting stack size is so low and the rate the blinds go up is too quick to create a successful strategy... Which leads to luck deciding who wins the game.

Spin& Go is good as a replacement for slot machines in casinos)). I am a gambler and used to play them often-I often won from $ 1 to $ 500, but then I lost when climbing the limits!!!It's hard to stick to bankroll management in these games.But I have heard about regulars who have risen in this discipline.

The variance is high, so..

I only play the free ones of GG Poker every 2nd day and use the free earned money to play in tournaments.

Since they introduced the 6seated Spin&Goes I prefer them. It is easier there to cash as you need to involve in less pots with bad cards

This is one of the modalities where it must be studied to a great extent, if you are not a specialist in Spin & Go it will be difficult to obtain profits

I think, this is impossible, because these are very fast tournaments with minimal opportunities for playing. They depend on luck even more, than sng or mtt. They are great for entertaining and having a good, fun time or go in and find a great multiplication bonus. At a long distance, you will always be at a loss.Wins in 50% of cases? I very much doubt, that this is possible... I think the best series is possible from 25 to 33% no more...

The best solution is, when you have a small profit from the game and you can lose them without any problems Or multiply it a lot if luck comes to you
