You never or you never win anything, whoever plays or has played knows that spin & go is bullshit.
It is much better to spend in the casino than in this SPIN & GO, where no strategy works.

I agree, although I have had some friends hit pretty big spins and won a good amount. Its all about the luck of what spin you get.

There are strategies for spin and goes, but they usually revolve around being hyper aggressive. You all start off short-stacked so short-stack strategies are a must.

It does suck to be at the victim of variance, but if you play enough of the format and play well, you'll eventually be EV positive.

it is true that spin and go is a format in which variance is hard to manage. but there are players who only play espresso and who manage to be profitable in the long run. I think it's a good way to practice and gain experience in the three player game. especially for mtt players as it can help you win in a big tournament.

I've done well on spin and go's , both on poker stars and Party. On stars I managed 17 wins out of 23 played in a row.
For me I find I am not lucky at all on Poker Stars generally, other than on spins, so I don't play much there.

Any game have strategy that can make you play better, but the luck will be present too, you can use more the strategy, depending less about the luck and win more times. If you think that this game are not for you, you can choose others styles, but we can see some good players in this style, try to search a little about teams, strategies and good players, you will have another way to think about it, and maybe you can learn more.

A syndicate I am in playing $50 spins at ACR hit a $50K jackpot recently, ACR allow a somewhat even deals to be made before the game and which all players took the $15K on offer, and then we played off for the remaining $5K, which we won for a total of $20K.

The guy doing the playing also hit a $25K spin in January.

We are often hitting 6x and 10x games, we are in a 10x game as I type.

There is a big scatter in Spin & Go but once in a while you can find bigger prizes, especially on the weekends, then many people play and the bigger prizes spin better.


Anyway, a Spin & Go is definitely good for practicing the last three of the final table of the MTTs.

1. A raise to two blinds is enough for your opponent to fold. 2. Fold against tight players more often. 3. Practice a push-fold game. 4. Even an average pair with a good kicker in Spin & Go is a fairly strong hand. 5. Play aggressively with your draws. That's the whole key to success !!!!

Yeah most of the time the prize is less then the buy in but that is how the game works.One player will be the lucky one.
