I have noticed from my experience that in order to progress in the tournament, it is necessary to win some crazy pots, for example allin with A5 against AK, and if you manage to win that pot, then you have the green light to be able to continue the game

In tournaments, yes, it is necessary. The player often spends a long time waiting for premium hands and when they come the whole table runs if he raises and if he limps he gets a bad beat. So it is necessary to know how to explore speculative hands

A5 vs AK is not that crazy like would be 2 4 against something like AQ or whatever

Yes, you are right, in order to win good prize money, you usually need to win at least 1 all-in, where you are behind in terms of odds.

If you follow this strategy, you will most likely have poor results in the long run. Only players who consistently follow their own system can become consistently profitable. Everything else is just random, like playing the lottery.

I don't think being crazy will win you anything in the long run. If you're playing crazy it is just gambling and it is not something poker should be Associated with.

That's not crazy in some circumstances and depends the opponent but you can't always play that way I think so

Excellent strategy... keep playing dominated, it's not very smart but yes, you can win sometimes.

Hello.
I think it's the wrong way to play such wrong hands. Anything can happen but these hands are the almost clear casino situations but not the real poker.

Sometimes you have to be crazy to win and get money.

Sometimes? Yes. Sometimes you play any two. Like anything else.

You have to get lucky, after making a stupid decision. Not crazy.

Maybe not crazy, but definitely lucky. To build a big stack (which helps with going deep in a tournament) you need to win showdowns. I've noticed my opponents do this better than me.

I agree with that, many times we have to take risks if we want to continue in the tournament, and when taking that type of risk we say that it is crazy or the rest of the players may say that you are crazy, but sometimes you have to do it, now that it works or Not taking that risk is something else.

Everyone, without exception, needs luck. That includes winning all-in when the odds are against you... no one deviates from this rule, not even professionals... if you want to go far in a tournament you'll need luck, whether you play like crazy or not.

You cant win if you dont play. The ones who win first prize are usually on the aggressive side. The key is selective aggression.

You also need to be lucky. It is very rare to win a tourney without winning at least one showdown where you were behind but suck out.

Some times it pays to play a little Crazy! Crazy in your opponents view but not so crazy when you win. I have been known to be a little "Crazy" in Live games calling All-in bets from opponents who think they have the best hand with A/K and I turn over a 6/2. You always get a little smile from them because they think you are stupid to call with such garbage, Then the smile turns into a look of shock when you flop a 2 giving you a pair and they are left with an Ace High.
When you have constantly battled for hours playing in a Tournament, and it comes down to heads up, any two cards can win, Doyle Brunson won two World series events with 10/2, Everyone thought he was a little Crazy calling all-in bets with such cards, but he knew any two cards can win and he did it twice!
I am not Doyle Brunson but when you have a massive chip lead over your opponent, Heads-up, I am calling all day long with "Crazy" hands.

You do not win tournaments by playing poorly. You might sometimes win them in spite of playing poorly, but its less likely than, if you play well. But with that being said "playing well" does not mean, you always have the best hand. If you have a 12BB stack and open jam A5o from CO and get called by someone with AK, then you did not make a "crazy play". You made a completely reasonable play and got unlucky to run into someone with a premium hand. And sometimes you will then get lucky and suck out on them. And these are then the times, you progress in the tournament. So maybe we can say, that its rare to win a tournament without having sucked out on someone (won with the worst hand) at least a few times during the game.

Such your experience and even more so such a pattern will lead to the fact that you will regularly make new and new deposits :)
