half a year without the 1st place. I've been playing for 12 years and I've never experienced anything like this before, what advice can you give me?

It's probably best to just take a break. If you've been playing for 12 years, you know that sometimes a break can be very helpful and a break can make all the difference.
...... but now that I looked at your screenshot, I think that the advantage will not help you :)

2nd place is still very good and nothing to scoff at. If you can't take first place maybe the problem is in your heads up game. I know my HU game isn't very strong so it's something I am working on myself as well.
