We have 39% equity versus those ranges, but we are getting pot odds of 44%.

Should we really be folding AKo here ?

I understand the data you have written but with 10BB and AK, it does not matter if it is offsuited I think you should call without thinking too much

10bb you should call always with AK, I think You should call even more AT+.... other situtaion (because you didn't describe) : it was in bubble stage? It will change a little answer.
