All poker games offered for profit are a way to exploit all people who wish to play poker. casinos and poker sites will always try to maximize their profits, and if rebuy games do that, then that's included in what they offer.

I personally don't tend to rebuy often, however rebuying into a tournament isn't really different than late reg from a player point of view. Once you lose the first buy-in it's gone. The next buy-in stands alone as a choice. I don't rebuy because late reg is suboptimal. If late reg doesn't bother you, rebuy shouldn't either.

You should check the Titans tournament. Up to 3 re-entries with a $5200 buy-in 🤯
The Re-entry is for fishes if a player goes all in to doble up or nothing, and if he loses, rebuy, as in most hyper turbo satellites.
To me, if you play correctly and lose, the rebuy it's like playing one more tournament within a session.
Also I pay attention to how many BB would have if I re-entry.

Rebuys in tournaments are a way to exploit “fish” mentality by the poker rooms.
Prove me wrong
Rebuys also allow good players to get back in if they had a really bad break, but first rebuys allow a casino to offer higher payouts and rebuys help to cover the cost. Once the price money is met, they have the option of using the rebuy or late buy-in money to increase the payouts or pocket the money. Or do both. No harm no foul.

If you are a fish with money and do not realize you are out matched then good for the rest of us. I do not like 90 or 120 min re-buys, too dam long. Do a re-buy for 1 hr and decrease the payout if necessary. After an hr I want to see the player list getting shorter.

Ability to bother other play is a part of the strategy for some, however, dummy with money will go all in every hand and unintentionally spoil it of others

Hi, friend
I personally don't like to rebuy in MTT unless the tournament is worth the rebuy.
In general, I do them when I lose an all in with very good hands and luck was on the villain's side.
Although if you play MTT patiently as any tournament should be played, I think there is very little chance you will ever rebuy.
Now, every site is designed to be for profit, and you will find many players who play for unlimited rebuys especially in the 1st hour of the tournament. With any combination they go all in to see if they can make a good stack that can allow them to enter the ITM, and that is part of the game.
I know how to play MTT KO and PS Bounty a lot and in general I very rarely do rebuys, and they are tournaments that usually go quite well for me.
greetings friend:):):):giggle::giggle::giggle:

I think that using rebuys is not entirely fair. Some players take the rebuy, others don't...

Many famous players often take rebates, rather it is a way of poker rooms to beat off the guarantee of the tournament.

Rebuy in tournaments is one of the tools for investing in poker rooms. The "thimble game" scammers act in a similar way. The only difference is that the poker room will allow you not to be completely without pants.

poker rooms are not charitable organizations and all they offer is, first of all, a plus to their budget, you just need to adapt and look for benefits for yourself, rebuys are like flipping a coin again, this time you can win

I'm usually heading for final table, sometimes I rebuy when bbs aren't too high, it's basically starting new tournament with higher position (and less chips,).

What is unfair about rebuys? Rebuys & add ons are options offered to all players in the tournament, the decision to participate is your decision. In these same tournaments you are competing against any number of opponents who have a decided advantage over you in skill & yet no allowance is granted you because of this, how is that fair? The answer is that fair has nothing to do with poker.

If you are a recreational player and dont find certain games enjoyable, then dont play them. In that way you wote with your money and reward sites for offering games, you enjoy. Pretty much like in any industry really. If on the other hand you are a "for profit" player, then you should not care about, how certain games play, but only if they are profitable for you. And if someone literally goes all in every hand, thats a massively profitable game to play and very easy as well :)

To be honest, I'm not at all interested in what others think at the table, because there are many others and I am alone.
If the rebuys is a chance to increase the stack, then why not.
If you play classic before the end of late registration, then the opportunity to use rebuys may not appear.
