Picking the right time to play

I usually play my sessions in the evenings because there are a lot of players at tables that i play

I play mostly in the evening, from 19:00 to 24:00 BST. Sometimes I play at night. I don’t know what it depends on, but in the evening and at night I have the best results, I am much more pleasant and comfortable playing than in the morning or afternoon. Maybe because I'm an owl), I like to do everything after sunset.

It seems to me that time does not play a special role. In the morning you will play or in the evening, as the card lays, so it will be))) The change of day and night does not affect the more or less you will receive the same aces!

I do not think the time improves performance a lot, but it certainly influences the feeling of the day. I mean - if you ended a tournament 3 o clock in the morning, you feel sleepy the next day.
On purpose, I choose the time to play so that the tournament would end approximately till 23:59. If later, that must be a special case.

And yet I think that is not the case. It is unlikely that games at different times of the day have different efficiencies. My opinion is that the whole matter is in your condition: at some time you are more aggressive, at some other time of the day you are more restrained. And this condition is reflected in the games.

I must play during the times with the better tournaments , tourneys' prizepools , freerolls , the games that I like more , the best players pools in ZOOM game . That's late evening or night , sometimes very late at night in Greece , which I don't like but best tournaments and cash games can be foung during specific days and times on any room .

The only thing I can choose is whether I am able and have the mood to play one day , or pass it and play another . I would play in the morning for fun very rarelly , especially in the past , but on cash games I see many bad beats and strange results/hands the less players the players' pool contain , are they more bots , best players who work also in the ormorning , more recreational/crazy/very fun/funny players ?? especially in PLO 6max ZOOm , lol .... I really don't know ..... Also , even if I decide to play for fun (as if I was a recreational player not worried to lose some buyins) , there 's no fun in losing to stupid players and crazy unreal badbeats , this I have seen too much in the morning . If i want to burn some money on a pokerroom or casino game (I want to win but don't care so much because i have BRM , the buy in is extremelly low , etc ), the least demand I have is to have some fun , to last and have decent hands or slot games . I fI lose all the time , if I have no good hands or any winning at all at casino game (95% return from the house , ofcourse*starts laughing*) , if I have bad beats all the time , no fun , I feel they are trying to steal my money ,my bankroll , my deposits , my winnings from countless minutes , no respect for my invested time.in online gambing games . I don't like being robbed ........ or raped.......

Hi All,

I have recently been following a close friend who studied his tournament play over the past year alternating 6 months with different tourney times to see if there was any correlation with results and performance - it was interesting to see that his performances/results improved with playing games that were out of his normal time zone..

It led to me thinking that from my own past experience over the past 25 years that my best results game when I either was up late/early hours of BST morning.

Do you have a strategy when playing late? Is it key to pick the best times as often the games we want/have the best action are scheduled when we don't want them?

Whats your experience? Im keen to know what you think.

I tried to play day and night. I’ve been playing for many years. And I’ll tell you that there’s no difference. The main thing is that you are in a good emotional state, sleepy and with a desire to play.

The best time to play in my opinion is when the most bad players are active. That will be different depending on where you live and if you play live or online.

Weekends are generally better irregardless.
