I am far more aggressive on line, and I consider myself a better player online than live

Has anyone else found this to be the case?

The problem is I simply cannot replicate that aggression on a live table, no matter how conscious I am of being passive, I just can't identify the spots to make some moves

No I've played thousands of live games

But your second point may be correct. I have had spells where I've gone on a good winning streak, or at least been happy with the way I've played, but just lately I can't find the spots and before I know it I'm short stacked

I can't even blame the cards, I just know I've been playing terrible

I think bluffs live are just more transparent, or they certainly are for me. Or maybe I just play with too many fish

I've subscribed to advancedpokertraining for a month to see if that benefits

Also at live, people are much less patient. There is not so many hands dealt at live, so is someone is pushed out by aggressive player out of hand 2-3 times, he already gets pissed and starts to defend his hands. It even doesn't have to be by your aggression, could be anyone else at table.

So you just need to take it into account and use it to your advantage.

this could boil down to several things... one your bankroll online vs your live bankroll. if you play micros or low stakes, the money you take and play at a casino is usually much larger. This alone could be a factor in the way u are playing.

2. No HUDs... It's harder to get reads / hand ranges, but that's exactly what you should be doing while playing live.

3. The "shame" factor... I doubt its this, b/c who cares what someone else thinks of your game... Play your best and run well
