In a multi-table tournament with varying stack sizes and blinds increasing over time, how do you decide on the optimal bet sizing for different stages of the tournament, and what factors should you take into account when determining your bet sizes? Additionally, how does your bet sizing strategy change when facing different types of opponents, such as loose players, tight players, or aggressive players?

My standard raise is 2.2bb wether I’m holding AA or 65s. 3.3 in 6max. Allows me to play more hands and better manipulate the table to play my game. I fond varying bet sizing tell tell signs pre and post pot. Varying your bet sizes isn’t a good thing around me especially if there is relevance

Sheet sorry I need to start checking my posts but I’m sure it changes after lol. What I did add that didn’t convey is that regarding the types of opponents at the table, as the tournament progresses were forced to sit down with new players etc. If I’m being sensible then I adjust my involvement and gather a feel for the new stint by tightening my range and active position but sticking to my bet size open. Avoiding the shove fest as the bubble starts to approach if I’m stacked up, if not I’m tooth and nail to go hard or home.

The preflop raise size goes down as the stack size (in BBs) goes down.
When deep stacked preflop opening of 2.5 - 3BB open size seems standard.

Betting size, generally depends from the situation. A 3bb betting is a basic betting if you have decided to play a hand. If the situation allows it and the players are not so aggressive you can bet smaller bets and play more hands. If they are more aggressive then you must get in a hand when you are more decided.

If I have good and out of position cards, 3 bb, but if the cards are good and I'm big or small, I just pay, and if I have a lot of chips, 4 bb, it all depends on the players at the table

uUre easy to read if you change your sizing.and 3 BB opening was standard in 2011.There is no need to up your opening size just because u have chips.

Think standard opening is inbetween 2-3bb you can change it a bit depending on position. When you hit the Push fold opening change

no it does not.and the raise size is not going down if your stack size shrinks.dont know which book u got that from.something between 2-2.3 maybe should be a standard opening.Your raise isnt about How much can i afford? It is about offering odds to your opponents to call

Just that, leaving you options to escalate into 4/5bets or get the hell out after causing a table madness lol. It’s players that bet depending on stack that are easiest to read.

Optimal bet sizing in a multi-table tournament depends on several factors, including stack sizes, blind levels, and opponent types. Generally, a smaller bet size is appropriate in early stages when stacks are deep and larger bets are more appropriate when blinds are high and stacks are shallow. When facing loose players, you can bet bigger to exploit their willingness to call, while smaller bets can be used against tight players. Against aggressive players, consider using a more passive approach to avoid being trapped

And he did... my 2.2 and min clicks brought me lots of trapping instances where my villains played right into my hands lol... Though I lost ridiculous number of flips that I was ahead in... great game it was... roll on next Monday 🤩

A bullet dodged as I’d been going toe to toe with the fish that won the hand lol. I would have ended up valued in possibly... though i belief the fireworks would have gone off sooner from the guy with AA as he might have inst shoved had I made the initial raise instead of folding. I sit and watch the 3bet players #HiestMeisters

And as promised lol, have a good laugh at the worst bluff attempt ever haha. The villain I’d let get to me over a series of hands early in the session, he was the catalyst that caused me to get outdrawn so I was semi gunning for him lol. Fortunately I managed to get recover each time and this bad bluff was the turning point that woke my sorry 2 day old arse up 😬 I should have shoved if anything but then if I’d done that I’d have had to deposit again and that’s the vow to myself that ive since it began not faltered on 🤞

SOOOOO BADD Haha 🙈🙈

the standard bet is 2 2.2 2.5 3 as you like, bet as you like if you have a large stack and you can allow you to open wider so you don't let opponents in if it's already a late stage of the game
