Ah... 2 years ago I could handle 0.25 SnG(45 man )tourneys. I didn't bust out frequently like today,.
Today, however, It seems that So many players uses advanced skills (such as float, ICM, Blind re-steal.) they build big stacks early and leads the game,

Besides, I really need to build a big-average stack on middle stage, If not, I usually bust out in middle stage. but when I tried to steal blinds, I usually failed to steal in the important situation for example, QKo on Middle position, They call, - I missed the flop - Do C-Bet - calls.... what should I do?

So. In short, It seems that I need another new strategy for 0.25 45ppl MTT

only 14 buy-ins left, I think I'll lose all my bankroll soon unless I find a new strategy or fix my problems

Do you think micro stake MTT player's skill is improved significantly?

I couldn't tell you the answer to your question 'but' I can tell you that micro & lowstakes MTT have ALOT of really bad players in them (especially on the weekends) & it seems like they always will be.
Yes there are many micro/low stakes MTT players who are very knowledgeable & no doubt a greater % of them on the tables all the time. There are still just soooooooooo many bad players in MTT that I think they'll always be profitable for anyone with a bit of knowledge.

Bad players seem to be drawn much more towards Tournaments instead of Cash. Seems to suit their styles better (plus they get killed pretty quickly on the cash tables)

No, No, No.
Luckily I'm an old dog who can learn new tricks, so I've adapted but I'm hitting final tables daily with fish who've lucked down astronomical coinflips to massive stacks.
Rarely do they have any knowledge of fundamentals such as position, pot odds, etc. And they definitely have no poker math skills.

I'd say it's got insanely worse.

To add to that though:
Of course you're going to get the dreaded suck-out just like always but nothing has changed even with the increase of super loose loft ( lack of F-ing talent ) players.
Stick to fundamental play. Adjust your play as the tournament progresses and exploit your opponents weaknesses and it's almost easier to build a comfortable position now days.
Experienced players MUST stop seeing these coin flippers as donkeys and use them as cash cows. We can only do this by controlling our frustration and perception.

Sorry for the rambling. lol

I grind the $.25 45 mans, when I play 6 tables there is always at least 1 or 2 regs at every table I have 500+ hands with, who I always see at final tables. I know how most of these players play and have notes on about 50%+ of the players in the tournament. So just keep playing and learn the players, the tournament itself is very soft and one double up can put you into top 3 position.

You said that you fail to steal the blinds in mid position. I recommend stealing blinds if youre in late position and the best way is on the button with a good hand cuz if you are in mid position there is always someone who will call

But today, So many players know about blind stealing, they try to Re-steal the blind. I was shocked because so many micro players use Re-steal technique.

never did play much .25 /45 but seems to me that if your having trouble it s not the other players , it s the man in the mirror .every game is unique. you cant show up and expect to do well some thing s will work in 1 game and flop in another you have to adapt or get left behind

Yeah. I use re-steal or do squeeze play when some tap players limps the pot or when button open-raises

I usually try to resteal when I have top 12~16% hands

Thats good becose many players open with week Ace and some "not big" hands so if you make a 3-bet its hard to call, especially rise from button or sm.

You mentioned cbets getting called, have you considered the board texture in these spots? How about employing a delayed cbet on the turn if the opportunity presents it self? Or maybe double and triple barreling? Adjust to something different when you find a specific line is not working.
