Hello guys who are you doing, I have been playing poker a while now ( like 3 years now) , I did study by watching a lot of videos about the game, I guess I'm in a middle position ( not a pro and not an easy fish)...
I had won multiple time freerolls tournament , and after each time i tried to build bankroll sometimes i got until 100$ but i lose that later , and a lot of time i just can't control, i play spin and go on pokerstars for 50$ sometimes, and every time the same thing happened , and i lose, and always say this I'm gonna play good and i will not gamble , but watch time the same thing happens, did anyone of you guys have this issues not controlling etc ....and how you deal with it, to make a small profit (not a living don't get me wrong) ,, just cash some hundreds box from time to time ....

it is very difficult to make a bankroll at micro limits, there are many players in tournaments, large variance

kinda hard to build up a bankroll from freerolls because there are such large fields and huge variation
Better if you afford to deposit some and start grinding micro stakes

If I’m understanding correctly, the maximum you have ever had in your bankroll is $100? If so then you turn around and play a spin and go for $50? If this is the case, then bankroll management is your biggest issue. If I only have $100 in my bankroll, I then will only play up to $3 buy-ins but usually only $1, so that gives me multiple chances to win more money before my bankroll is drained completely. I have never had to reload my bankroll in any of the poke sites I play. It works very well for me. I am definitely not a pro and I mainly play Freerolls usually in the money but not often at the final table.

Also if you don’t seem to be doing well with the spin and goes, look at playing different types of poker games and see where you do best; large tournaments, small tournaments, 1 table or multi-table sit and goes, heads up etc etc...Once you find where you can play your best, stick with it.

If you have troubles controlling yourself, maybe change the settings on the poker site you play at, so that it only shows free and micro to take your mind off of the larger stakes til you get your bankroll up more.

I wish you all the best to change your stars and create a nice juicy bankroll :)

In your situation with the 100 dollars I would have tried to qualify for tournaments of 5 and that of 11, play the sit and go of .50, of a dollar, you can increase your bankroll little by little with solid steps, and the main thing is not to despair, to be solid in your game:jd4::jd4::jd4::jd4:

Building a bankroll from freeroll winnings is possible. Sure, the payouts aren't what they used to be. I think the biggest payout for "non-hoopjumping-freerolls"out there for U.S. players is around $100. Cashing/winning in these trny's should get you to a point where you can start investing in your own poker abilities. I agree w/GeckoAA and using bankroll management. It will keep funds in your roll and you playing on the felt. GL.

I recommend you to invest the money from freerolls in cheap satellites. I have built bankrolls in almost all the rooms where I play in this way. Tickets are relatively easy to win without much risk to the bank, and with several final tables things are arranged one by one.

In order for your bankroll to grow, you just need to follow a bankroll management system. For example, I never spend more than 1-2% of my bankroll per day, and this is why my bankroll grows steadily.
