In Satellite's when close to winning..

..how do you recommend to play when you're a tight player, don't get decent cards for a while, short stacked M below 8 and only few players away from the win, especially considering that one will progress to the next tournament with the existing chip stack.

Usually I see big stacks collecting the blinds while short stacks tighten up (losing blinds after blinds).

Does one need to become more loose and take the risk of being called by big stacks when holding cards like K10, Q8, 8,6 aso..?

If youre looking like your going to advance then Id definitely stand pat. If its questionable Id probably play a hand like k-10 without a raise. hands like Q-8, 6-8 youre just asking for trouble...

You seem to have a more relaxed style of play, I try to play practically on each hand at the initial stage, but if the opponent raises the bet, I'll throw it out, and in the middle stage I play calmly.

That's nice tips so far. I also try to play smartly all the time.
