Hello, my question here is given icm payouts, would you advise calling/3betting? I will run in icmizer but I am pretty sure with icm this won’t be a jam

I do not know of any solver that can run preflop with postflop icm calculations (for instance a solver saying my hands to 3 bet with, with icm and the big blind behind and how to continue etc or jam/call) if anyone knows of one please suggest. Thanks

I also only know about ICMizer as a solver to push or fold decisions.

Based on your 32 BB stack, you're a little too deep to jam over this min-raise, in my opinion.

A (regular) 3-bet would mean to invest an additional 17% of your stack, which is quite a bit and you have the worst position postflop.

So my play would be to call here.

This is just my personal opinion without any support of solvers and also I am not the most experienced player, lol. 🙂

3-betting is an over play here, you should be able to realize your equity with a call. If opponent has you out piped the so be it but if an Ace peels off you want to get it in then.

I think the best move would be to call, as there are others at the table with a smaller stack than you.

I think 3-betting would be bad due to the fact that you will be playing your hand out of position against a player with more chips than you and pressured by the ICM.

I think as the others a call is fine, but if you like an aggressiv touch you could Bet 41.229 so you set the BB all in, but you then need to have a plan if raiser, shoves.
(if BB call, and raiser call, you and raiser play to eliminate BB which means no bluffing.)

i would just call. AJ offsuit isnt that strong to make 3 bet in that spot.. icm is also very important because you dont want to be involved in a big pot against another deep stacked player without a very strong hand when there are 3 other players with a very short stack.

This may be controversial, but I don't mind a fold either. Why get involved in a pot out of position, against the chip leader with AJo. Just pass and move on. With the 3 very short stacks, I don't think you have to get involved with this hand.

The trouble with calling and hitting your A, is that you're still not fully comfortable with your hand, against the player you least want to be up against, out of position. I think you will bet better spots than this despite the decent odds to call
