The world series of poker Main Event, a $10,000 buy-in, ~$8 million for the winner, ~7,000 entries every year, and the biggest annual prize pool in poker. Okay, it's the biggest event in the world, but how would you change the structure to make it even bigger and better to attract more entries and more money into the prize pool (and organisers' pockets!)?
What I would do is...
-Add another Day 1 flight
-Allow one re-entry (must be during the late registration period)
-Extend the late registration period to before the first level of Day 2
-Pay top 13% of entries, and will each receive at least $17,500 for finishing ITM.
