Yes it is possible. The degree of possibility from poker room to poker room will vary. I would say pretty easy to do with ACR, while not possible with Interops/ignition. One thing you will need to do first is build up a following (like CC does here) on a website or blog even, then apply for an affiliateship. You can't just apply and add games.

With pokerstars you can set up your own Home Games however. These games are played with Play Chips, but often have added prizes which are P2P'ed to players via paypal, skrill, etc.

With PokerStars you can create a homegame club and invite people to join it. You can play your own tournaments in there

That would be awesome but what is the regulation for it? Certain states in USA don't allow online poker.
