In the poker tournament, more precisely, you must have very clear strategies about the situations that may occur within the tournament, to guide your strategy, your range is fundamental to be profitable, there will be situations where you will be deep Stacked on the bubble, ICM situations with players with less chips than you, chipleader 3-bet situations at the final table

These are certainly not easy decisions to be made in a short amount of time, hence the importance of the range.

Setting up your range according to your playing style is a good option, if you are a tighter player your range should be reduced and if you are a more aggressive player your range should be wider, and so on, knowing the what's going on and what you're doing at a poker table will only lead to profitability faster.

It's good to have a poker intuition based on various game concepts and play almost every hand very close to the optimum of strategy.

I think such an understanding of the game is possible with a long analysis of many game situations in programs and when discussing hands on the forum.

Well, reading the opponent is a skill that takes much time and practice to master. But you can start with the ranges that pre-flop charts recommend for each position at the table, and then you can adjust them according to your observations of your opponent in previous hands.
However, there are many factors that influence in this range estimation, like effective stacks, phase of tournament, etc.

For example, let's say that blinds are 50/100 ante 10 and everybody (9 players) has about 10,000 (100 bb). Your opponent is unknown and raises in UTG to 3 bb. What he might have? Anything? Not really. Is he doing it with a hand like J4o? Very unlikely, unless he is a true beginner and it is a freeroll. But even so, it is better to assume that he has a strong hand. In micro limits, something like 99+, AT+, KQ. But this is just a general assumption. A not so good player might play QTo like that. That's why in the beginning you must always assume that they are good or average players, unless they prove you the contrary.
