There is lots of variance in big field MTTs so you'll have to ride the waves of that also pick spots to be aggressive. Early in tournaments people are willing to gamble and it's easy to double or triple up in one hand. Try not to limp too much with marginal handswhen entering a pot. you'll often find you'll get squeezed behind and have to fold when you could of just saved chips in the first place.
To run deep you'll have to survive a few flips so pick your spots to call off with and GL

A great tournament never wins, but with 300 players yes, many times, but keep in mind that there are sometimes great tournaments that I have played up to 60 thousand players.

Never but have tried to. That was an about $260-270 buy-in tournament, I got the ticket from freeroll sattelite.
If saying 'big tournament' you mean 'have you ever finished 1st out of 500 people or more' then yes, I have done it several times.

Tournaments with 300 players are not that large, and yes I have won some of those. In fact my 3 largest cashes are all for winning PKOs with just around that number of players, although it did include re-entries. There is no particular strategy, just because a tournament has 300 entries rather than 50 or 100. Regardless of the field size you win MTTs by playing well, being able to concentrate for several hours and by getting lucky.

I was very lucky to win a pokerstars freeroll tournament of 10.000 players, first place was 1000$ and this was my best result of all time.

I don't remember exactly, but I won a tournament where there were more than 1000 people, it was nice.To win tournaments you need to play often,then something will work out.

I guess the short answer is no. But I am aiming at changing that this new year. There is a great field of new players out there now. We can't play in live casinos right now so I'm thinking now is a good time to get my head into the online game. I want to stay focused and see if I can work my way into a big tournament. No, unfortunately not. I don't play many paid tournaments, but I did get second place on a freeroll with over 4000 people. I hope I improbe my game more to update my answer haha

I’ve binked several freeroll tournaments before including the CardChat monthly for $23. With my brother, our biggest payout was around $200 as a F2P poker player. The struggle is maintaining the earnings because I often win a couple dollars here and there and then lose all of it in entry fees. I’m also not great at cash so I have to bink free rolls to start the cycle again.

I've won a bunch. I've never noticed bots tournaments.. they might be there, but not like in some cash games I've seen. I almost exclusively play mtts online for that reason. What do you think you're doing wrong?

Never won a tourney. Made final table(top ten) a few times. Just never had the combination of cards and timing and luck necessary to win. Best finish was second. No shame in second; only one person was higher on ladder, all the rest finished below me.
