I raise first in from BU with TT and get called by a loose passive opponent in BB.

The flop comes 8s4d4s and I c-bet. BB minraises.

I think for a moment and then push allin. BB calls and show A4.

Did I make a mistake when I pushed allin?
Before I pushed allin, I thought about it, and put him on a range containing:
A4, K4s
Ax, Kx, Qx, Jx of spades
A8, K8
44

However, when I saw his hand it felt like I should have known he was strong.

What do you think?

If I had been in your place I would have played just like you did, I will not deny that that 4 4 table would have left me a bit hesitant, but if I had done the same, I think sometimes we trust a lot of the cards in table

Just an opinion, but I think when a passive player shows strength like this post flop it is a reason to be cautious. I would aim for a cheap showdown in this instance calling the bet. I don't know the effective stack. I might attempt for a probe bet (less than half pot) on the Turn and see if he does that raise again.

Thats what Id do in a microstakes cash game. In a tourney the stack depth is a big factor.

Just my 2 cents. Wair for more experienced players than me to answer.

The min raise would be the red flag to me especially when playing against a passive opponent

A raise from that type of player would have worried me . I also would have gone on defense and tried to get to show down as cheap as possible .
