I was told by someone after their loss that my play was fishy, I, of course, disagree, what say you all. I called to see the flop and hit a set. I lipped button 63 off and bb raise to 3bb, 2bb to call so I did.

You limp with 3-6 before the D button pretty fishy play
why would you limp 3-6 at all?

Also, I was on the button, and even still one or two play before button I'd still have a good table position too so I'd still call.

10/20 baton ?it was possible to throw it away and not think, I think this is a bad situation, there would be a late situation it would be all in but it's 10/20

Doesn't seem that fishy or too out of line to me. Limping on button is usually frowned on but in low level / freeroll tournaments with a bunch of weak players I'll take almost any two cards from late position. Not like raising with 63 on button will accomplish anything but put you in weird spot to a 3-bet.

Not a play I'd usually make but sounds more like opponent was just mad they overplayed their AQ.

that's what I said, he overplayed. I've been there b4, overplaying top pair on paired board, set player flats until they can trigger an all-in situation and I lose. What I hate most is missing hands and those are usually the ones I get bet off pre-flop that I intended to call. I was looking for a straight or straight draw on flop and got a set instead, just as good.

You flopped trips, not a set.

As for the hand, I'd fold pre but it worked out for you and you got paid off.

isn't set /trips the same thing? I've always used it interchangeably

No.

-set: 2 cards in hand, 1 on board. [22 in hand, a-2-k on flop]
-trips: 1 card in hand, 2 on board. [32 in hand, 2-k-2 on flop]

Main difference: only one player can hold set of that card. So, no one can have 22 if you have it. More than 1 player can have trips on the 2-k-2 flop.

I see, duly noted.

OK he was pissed off when he lost 130BB on this run out on a paired board. While I get his frustration he could have slowed it down as well.

This being said you open limped 63o. I never will call you names as this is not what I would do, but it was a bit of a fishy play. If you raised to steal I would understand more but you limped and called a raise with a really bad hand. I get what you going for and you got it here but its a -EV play.

-EV I definitely get that. Something to think about for the long run to plug the leaks.

Who wants to and plays. But there is something written in the rules that you can not conspire. If they find out that there was a collusion, then there will be problems. But in general, you can play as you like. Sometimes I don't have anything, but I keep raising it, because I hope that the opponent will get scared and drop it. If the staff of the room told you this, then it is almost useless to prove something. It remains to be reconciled with their decision.

How did collusion enter the discussion? I'm lost on this point.

Nothing fishy about playing pretty much anything frm the button. I rarely see anyone on the button fold, so that meas that most of them are playing really bad hands too.

If they'd paid attention, they'd notice you call with any two all the time, so I wouldn't consider it fishy. Not fishy as in a suspicious way anyway.
Now I'm not sure which fishy he/she meant lol :s
