Everyone wants to win a tournament, and strive as much for it.
Analyze hands, check your position at the table and even sometimes with a tall pair arrive to bet high.

I ask you: Do you have any luck at poker?

Good luck always for everyone!

Sometimes, but not very frequently!
I will always remember a lot time ago, how lucky I was with my last 0,02 USD on FTP - entering a rebuy sat for double deuces tournament, win an entry and earn there 102 USD - my best score so far :D
Sometimes nice lucky rivers, wins, etc I do not count ...

what are the pay jumps? how short are the short stacks? where is your seat position? is the table tight or lag?
generally you should be playing tight until the small stacks bust. try to steal in position. play a lower variance style post-flop

There are two solutions to this score. The first, play to get to itm, the second play to take a high place. As a rule, if you choose the second option, you must continue the aggression , despite the fact that this is the final table.

in general I adopt 2 strategies. Most of the time I wait for opponents with fewer chips than me to be forced to play because of the blind and bust before starting to play. or if I have good cards and feel that the variance is my rating. I try my luck on a good spot.

Questions like these are often too vague to answer accurately because there are so many variables. If pay jumps are high, I would try and let the smaller stacks get knocked out before trying anything risky, but say only the top 3 positions pay well, then I'd keep an aggressive style and try to build up my stack.

Very tight and aggressive meaning fold/shove and wait for premiums hands to keep doing it other wise fold, fold, fold and hope you get good hands soon or you will blind out. good luck at the tables.

don't mess with the big stacks and let the short stacks (<10bb) bust.
consider ICM and don't get bullied

I would play looking for a closed range of streets. I would play conservative, since in case of any bad estimate I made, the error could significantly distance me from the collection area.
I would try to play tall hands when I face players who have bigger stacks than mine.
It would only expand my ranges of hands when I'm with players who have a smaller stack.
Greetings.

in my opinion playing shady and tight when your in the later stages with the blinds so high is the wrong way to go.. i think agressive is the way to play to build a decent stack after all you dont want to be blinded out... but truth be told i really believe theres no right and wrong way to play at that stage its all about how you feel comfortable... keeping the basics in mind of course... after all you didnt get to the later stages of a tournament on pure luck alone there had to be some skill involved right?

Hey
If you want to proceed to final table, play very few hands.

Only premium hands that can be shoved all in.

If not wait and bet accordingly.

If you play a lot of hands your stack could deplete.

Hey
Luck does matter
But skill is important too.
You could have AA and lose to AK.
Thats bad luck, but how you bet with the AA matters.

I cracked AA with my 77 bcoz AA didnt shove all in nor pre flop nor post flop, only kept betting small.

So all that matters when you play.
Lucky I get a 7 on river and won.

So its a mix of both.

I have the belief of not having much luck usually my best games are skillfully and always fall on a bad beat, yet I believe the games that increase our performance are not lucky then even with a little luck that sometimes happens we have the same good is to have a performance playing technically to seek development and have good results coming in FT

Patience, patience, patience. Final tables are fun when you make it. Concentrate and play only good hands with an occasional bluff.
