I came back to play NLHE after a few years, and i played both free poker and paid poker tournaments, and heres my impressions:

In 3 Fictional chips tournaments my worst positioning was 5th, then i moved to real money tournaments and took me a while to get used to till i got to 35th in a 5 dollar one.

People tend to hero call more in money game tournaments than fictitional game tournaments, but at the same time overall people tend to play tighter.

People tend to let you see any hands you want on free poker, while on paid poker you need to pay more often to see the flop.

The conclusion is: Fictitional poker didnt help me at all with my game, in a matter of fact it was demeaning for my understanding of poker.

Do you guys have similar experiences, please tell me.

Hi!it is good to play a fictional tournament if it has a prize for first place.Well, it is desirable to hone your skills without costs or with minimal costs.I've seen good play in both fictional tournaments and money tournaments, and exactly the opposite. You will experience more practice and understanding of the game only when you have something to lose, such as a tournament bain. These are my thoughts and I share them with you.Maybe someone else thinks differently-we will see in the answers.)Good luck friend!
