This is a hand from the $1,000,000 BIG ONE ONE DROP. I want to see what people would do compared to what Doug Polk and Daniel Negreanu did playing heads up.
button (random) opens for 150,000
Cutoff(villain) calls 150,000
SB QQ is dealt you have decided to reraise to 550,000

random folds
(villain) calls
flop 2s 6c 2h
you decide to raise 400,000
(Villian) calls 400,000
turn comes As 2s 6c 2h As
you decide to check
Villian bets 200,000

So what do you do here in this spot? plz post your personal awnser BEFORE watching the link to the video TY

I would call the bet, it's just too small to even think about folding. I would not raise, though, in case he has an Ace. In the river, unless it's a Q, I would check/call.

After watching the video I can say that I think Daniel played this hand correctly. I understand why you would think Doug made a weird move, but I think he was just trying to get a cheap showdown. By betting that turn he makes Daniel uneasy and less willing to bet the river. Doug believed his hand was fine but didn't want to risk a big chunk of his stack against a better pocket pair.
