There was an article written a while back by Chris Ferguson on full tilt poker. He claimed he made it to $10,000 online starting with freerolls. Anyone else here done well like that without depositing money?

Jokes aside I started playing when he started that challenge ^^
I respected that guy until he was trialed for stealing money from clients at full Tilt along with some other "pros"

So you can scratch the Jesus in the title xD

Not only from freerolls (I googled it), that's just where he started this as a challenge. $0-$10k playing 10 hours a week.

Apparently he made $22 in freerolls altogether. Cashed for $104 in a $1 tournament and it took him 18 months to complete the challenge. That's what, 780 hours? $12.82 an hour over the whole period, and it took him 9 months to reach that first $100. After that it was much easier.

But I also got my bankroll by playing freerolls, and the ones who helped me the most were those here at Cardschat.
