Level: 250/500

Hero has 99 UTG +1 and misclicks to 500 off of 9000 stack (meant to make it 2.5x).

MP shoves for 14000, had just got sucked out on the hand before.

Hero calls and MP has QQ.

Standard call off here? Felt like the villian could easily have all pairs 55-88 and lots of hands we are flipping with or even dominating.

Let's say your estimate is right. From a pure EV standpoint, it would be close, but this is tournament poker. It takes a stronger hand to call than to push. Yes, you would be favored against 55-88 and a coin flip on Ax or most broadways. But you'd be behind against TT-AA, which is just as likely as 55-88. So at best, I'd say you're 50/50 here. And recall, it takes a better hand to call than to push (in part because you have no fold equity -- villain did; and there's also ICM).

I'd fold here.
