Hello, I played my first tournament on betonline and even saw the final table.
How it was ...
On the final table in late position with A9, i am decided to steal the blinds by going to the all-in but on the big blind the man coded with 99 and the river gave us a pair and we doubled.
After a few hands, we have AJ and the short stack decided to push A8 but failed
Further to the top 5 we are on the big blind with AK and the short 5bb all-in A4 , we call and the flush is closed on the turn and we lose 6 blinds
Well, the final one, we pushed 89 in the small blind and got a call from the chip leader and, alas, we leave the tournament with the 5th number and earn $ 7
What I wanted to say in general:
The tournament is not bad and there are a lot of amateurs who opened their marginal hands through a limp and it was possible to steal the blinds. I also wanted to point out the leader's chip (it was her) - she was very good at stealing the blinds and opened with a wide range, which scared the players throughout the tournament.
I wish everyone good luck in the tournaments and take only the first places
