Ante games

What is your opinion of Ante games? Personally I am not bothered either way, although I do like the fact that every pot is worth playing as opposed to just playing for blinds. Also I think it gives everyone an incentive to play therefore the opportunity for the pot to be larger is higher.
Are there any other pros and what would the cons be apart from just costing when you are dealt rubbish?

Personally, I don't really like it. I have to be very aggressive for this type of game . You have to fight for every pot to be on the dealer button all the time.
It favors loose aggressive players in all sorts of ways.
So the key to this game is to be loose and aggressive I think. Or you’re very lucky to have an aggressive player sitting to your left so you can be in a good position many times with minimal investment.

ante makes the tournament more dynamic .. I like it!
