121 Coaching, study, online courses??????

Morning all

So at a bit of a crossroads on which way to go played for years no real structure but have gone fairly deep into this game. I believe I have a fair understanding but want to take it up some levels ALOT of levels. I have played all different types of holdem and seem to now have settled back in to grinding $3 and $5 9 man stts and Sunday mtt grind. The sit and go's are nothing like they were years ago in terms of volume of games but still seem fairly soft. I suppose the question here is how many stt grinders are out here are there any study groups going on or people playing these that are up for study, chats maybe reviewing sessions with each other or anyone used and vouch for coaching weighted towards these games I'm not looking for some high roller coaching but beginner to advance? Id like to think I'm not at the beginning but sure I'm not the only one who overestimates my ability sometimes " just give me 10k ill take down the main event!!!" thanks for reading

I'm not at the coaching stage, may never be. But I am interested in coaching as a discipline and we could try a co-coaching approach within the study group. There is power in the coaching approach for sure.

I'm not at the coaching stage, may never be. But I am interested in coaching as a discipline and we could try a co-coaching approach within the study group. There is power in the coaching approach for sure.

No I'm defiantly not thinking I can coach anyone but am happy to talk through hands and have an input just doesn't seem to be many people out there playing these to talk to. Lots of zoom cash players where the icm spots push fold strategy doesn't cross over I play mainly turbos. Have actually started talking to someone who coaches so may book some hours.

Totally agree. I think, for the first one, we have to be somewhat looser in direction, but still some structure.

Suggest something like:
Open with introductions that describe:
i. experience to date, including what learning resources participants have already made use of
ii. areas of concern / current focus for learning

Agree on ground rules and approach for regular meetings and expectations wrt participation and 'homework' between sessions.

Feel free to suggest alternative/additions...

Sounds like a good general line to take for the first session be good to know what our goals are and where we think we are within those goals and establish where we are going with the group #no_limits_mezza

Some further ideas for the introductions:
1. How long have you've been playing for?
2. What's your preferred game type (cash, MTT, SnG)?
3. How regularly do you currently play?
4. What are your ambitions in the game?
5. Do you currently do much in the way of studying? If so, what resources do you use and how regularly do you study?
6. What are you looking to get out of a study group?
