I was able to drive a tournament of this and my strategy was to get up to ft with more than 20bbs hence I went doubling with hands 88,99, TT, A9, AT, AQ, AK, AA, KK, QQ, JJ

I don't get that 57s hand, I mean preflop seems ok, but why would you lead flop? You had a monster, and if he had an overpair or 5 aswell it would end up in allins anyway. So why Bet instead of letting him bluff or catch up, turn a pair or something? I would say you made a mistake there.
