$11 NLHESTT: Big Blind Special - TP weak kicker

poker stars $10+$1 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t100/t200 Blinds - 6 players

BTN: t7335 36.67 BBs
SB: t5582 27.91 BBs
Hero (BB): t2386 11.93 BBs
UTG: t3385 16.93 BBs
MP: t4857 24.29 BBs
CO: t3455 17.27 BBs

Pre Flop: (t300) Hero is BB with 3:club: J:spade:
UTG calls t200, 1 fold, CO calls t200, 2 folds, Hero checks

Flop: (t700) 6:club: J:diamond: 7:spade: (3 players)
Hero ??

This is a big blind special hand. 18man SNG, final table, top 4 get paid.
Used all of my time clock on this one as I really didn't know what to do.

There were a few hands that had multi-way limped pots on this final table. 16 hands dealt so far on this FT.

UTG is 21/6/2 over 71 hands
CO is 31/19/0 over 16 hands

I am 11/10 over 71 hands and doubled up early in the FT with ATs vs 88

With 2 J's accounted for the probability of either villains having a J is small
The UTG limp is suspicious
Flop semi-hits a lot of limped hand ranges

That flop shouldn't hit their range very well at all. I'm betting this and i'm happy to get it in. Lots of these guys will get it in with worse hands. We are the shortest stack with the least amount of equity. Getting to the bubble short in these things is a sin, so this is the time to take risks, and i'm happily getting this in.

I would bet out first, not sure if I would fold to or call a raise in this spot though... I suppose this is a good spot to get it in as WiZZiM says, since we're (relatively) short and there's not a lot of ICM tax yet.

I suppose, but i'd expect thses guys to call with more QJ TJ type hands than 45, 78 type hands. Which actually hurts my above advice. I don't know, my default play is to get it in, but perhaps we're a bit weak here, so bet/folding perhaps is the best play?

Interesting. While the limp was suspicious I don't think you can always assume it's a big hand, since he's a 21/6. If it were a tighter/better villain I'd be a lot more weary.

I just seem to be seeing a lot of limped AA/KK in EP in the middle to late stages of these games recently. I have been folding pretty regularly to limp/shoves these days unless the opponent is a real spew.

I suppose that's not a bad thing (to fold that is), especially in a sort of marginal spot like this one, you don't have much invested at this point, so you can just look for a better spot especially since we have <10bb's.
