Hamilton Montreal Schultz Picks: Montreal:
-----------------------------------------

This is the Alouettes home opener in their renovated stadium. After three weeks on the road, the Als are hosting a game that has been sold out for months in advance. Hamilton must play well in the first quarter, or the game could get ugly. I think the Ticats play well, but Montreal will win. Hamilton 24, Montreal 31.

B.C. Toronto Schultz Picks: Toronto:
------------------------------------

The Lions enter the game with six first year starters on defence, a youthful offensive line and a limping quarterback. Toronto has home field advantage, two straight wins and an improved defence. I have to with the logic here. B.C. 22, Toronto 25

Edmonton Winnipeg Schultz Picks: Edmonton:
--------------------------------------------

Buck Pierce is out, Steven Jyles is in and the Eskimos are still looking for their first win. The pressure is building and it's time for Edmonton to explode. Edmonton 34, Winnipeg 26

Saskatchewan Calgary Schultz Picks: Saskatchewan:
---------------------------------------------------

I said I would ride the Roughriders' bandwagon until I was thrown off. I am worried about extra preparation time and rest for the Stampeders, but I will keep my word. Saskatchewan 19, Calgary 17
