same with me. i install icmizer but didnt know its ilegal for PS player. get warning bye PS after instal it. be carefull guys icmizer is good App but you can not open it same time with PS. and i cant find way to uninstall it so i just delete.

Install the "Revo Uninstaller" program on your computer and uninstall the application using it. Before you start to uninstall programs, read about the correct usage of "Revo Uninstaller" !!! The program works very effectively and removes all tails.

Almost every site will tell you what HUD software is legal (and what software isn't allowed), so at least you know what you can and cannot do, ahead of time.

I don't personally care what programs/Apps other players are using. What does concern me is that pokerstars is snooping on millions of PCs worldwide. I'm pretty sure they haven't bothered with Macs yet, or the Mac security is too strong for them to crack.

Thanks for the info. I know about this and try not to violate PokerStars rules. I do not use any auxiliary programs at all to play poker.

Thanks for the advice.I either dont use any programs than PS .Pokerstars has to secure the game from anything suspisious thats why you get a warning.

I made a mistake by checking on a hand I played that busted me out of a tournament.

Obviously you can't use pokerstove or equilab while playing, but I thought as long as I am not playing I will be OK. I was wrong, you can only check on hands that you played when you have shut down pokerstars.

So only use those tools when you are analyzing your game and make sure you have no poker rooms running while doing it.

Permitted Programs for PokerStars

At PokerStars are allowed programs that:

Provide basic information on the game (pot odds, strength of the hand);
Statistical and reference information (charts of starting hands);
Monitor and provide game statistics to opponents.

Thus, you can use the following programs on PokerStars:

Holdem Manger and Poker Tracker are programs for collecting game statistics, organizing information and analyzing your game.

StarsHelper is a program for optimizing and simplifying the gameplay.

sharkscope is a statistical site that collects all information on the results of poker tournaments.

Prohibited programs for PokerStars

Security Service PokerStars can block your account for using third-party programs that have the following functionality:

Creation of a common database (mining) and other programs that make team play possible (collusion);
Play without human intervention (bots), or reduce the need for human participation in the game (auto-fold);
Collect statistics on players, if you are not present at the table;
Provide advice on the game in real time (helpers);
They allow you to manipulate opponents, in games where table selection is impossible (for example, Spin & Go tournaments)

Examples of prohibited programs on PokerStars:

SessionLord - program for automatic landing at the tables.

SpinWiz is a program that helps you choose tables in Spin & Go tournaments.

WarBot, PokerBot + - programs that fully or partially play in place of a person.

I am pretty sure its the same with Macs. Try downloading any of those prohibited programs and you will probably get the same warning.

Hello fellow members!

Today I have also got a similar warning e-mail from Pokerstars.

Cause: While playing today I've turned on PokerStove to check if I made a correct fold. Wasn't thinking at all whether it's allowed or not. I rarely use it anyway, had it installed from time when I was playing more seriously.

So now I uninstalled it but I'm still slightly worried. Will Pokerstars take any additional action against me? Did anyone who received this warning had any other problems? I'm also using PokerTracker4 HUD is that a problem?
