Pokerstars Client issue

Hi I have noticed that whenever I open and run pokerstars client software my computer basically goes crazy. The energy usage is really high with memory and cpu high. You can actually hear my computer struggle when client is running. Has anyone else noticed this while running that software? And how can I/we solve it so it runs more smoothly? I play on many different pokerrooms where it runs good but that pokerstars client runs REALLY bad on my Windows 10 computer

I would like to mention that I just bought a new computer.

PokerStars support is marvellous and quick, they helped me with an issue. i suggest you contact them, they will get back to you and ask for a log file... they will talk you through how get that to them - don't worry
then they fix it - they excellent... gl with that

If that happened recently and your machine is rather old (especially with old video card) you should check if the new aurora engine is enabled in table settings. Try disabling it and see if that helps. Graphics are really better with the new graphics engine but it is still not well optimized and on older machines you better leave it off.

Another thing you can do is change the client's settings in Task Manager/Activity Monitor. Set PokerStars to run on low processes. This will reduce energy consumption and hopefully reduce thermal heat throttling as well.

yea my old computer I had issues and computer work very hard. since I have had my new computer it has been great. I am sure they can fix the issues if you are to email them. my brother had a problem with it once and he emailed them and they corrected it quickly and he was up and running ever since.
