How do you feel about third-party software for player analysis?


Do you think player analysis programs interfere with live tournaments?

I think that in the 21st century it is difficult to play without software, especially for beginner players. But in live tournaments, this software is useless, and the player should be able to independently analyze his game and the game of his opponents. If a player plays only with software, then live tournaments are out of the question.

I don't understand - how would software interfere with live play? Software is an aid to online play but that's all it is. You can't win consistently online without making your own decisions. Just like you can't win live without making your own decisions.

I mean, when you use programs like the card calculator, your brain doesn’t work in this direction and in a live tournament the player cannot calculate possible combinations of opponents' cards.

I don’t know why, but I think that these programs hinder the development of a promising player.
