I am sure this has been discussed sooo many times but a quick initial search yielded no credible results soooo.....
I will start out only small stakes HE. I may eventually purchase an upgrade to all stakes, and possibly (or not) PLO, but HE is my main game.
I have used HEM, but not for a few years. I am playing maybe 1-2 hours a day, maybe 3-4 days a week. I am micro stakes and doing very well right now, but its only been a couple of months. I am slowly building a roll at BCP and at PS. I will possibly play 888 at some point as well.
I pay 6-8 tables max (cept PS, the new friggin 4 table cap SUX!!!) and am ok but I mainly want to review hands, as with even only 4 tables I cant really mark any hands and play attentively. At the ultimate micros I find stats to not be all that importaant. I know they would also not be bad to have but I play fine just observing, even with 8 tables. I mean, it is .01-.02, so real leveling is never really needed.
But as my roll builds I will be at.02.05 soon, and then .05-.10 and then I think stats may begin to be a good thing.
So, PT or HEM and why? Nathan (BlackRain79) really loves PT so that may speak for it, but he may be a sponsor as well.
I use windows 10 and Mac OS Mojave if that is pertinent. My mac has more power so I may play there for now (I never have played on my mac so dont know how trackers and the sites I play at work with Apple) but a new PC will be coming this year but that may take a while. My PC works fine but is not new.
Specs for PC:
8 GB RAM, Intel CPU G2020 2.90 GHz, Windows 10 64 bit.
Mac has 40GB RAM, an intel i5 2017 iMac
